I was thinking that at the end of BfA the Horde and Alliance decide to end the war for good. They form a council to lead a unified faction made up of equal Alliance and Horde leaders. All dungeons and raids and battlegrounds going forward are joint operations. The lore reason for battlegrounds would be war games to prepare for a new threat. World PvP could be preserved by having 2 new factions that player choose, similar to Aldor and Scryers, and in the world these factions choices can let you flag for WPvP against the opposing chosen faction, regardless of Horde or Alliance affiliation.

Free faction changes won’t fix the problem when there is no incentive to go alliance, in fact in most cases it is the opposite.

Well, we wouldn’t be at this point if the horde wasn’t complaining that the alliance never turns on war mode.
I say instead of rewarding the faction that doesn’t do crap Give the Horde the 30% We are using the system right make them get mad we are getting all the benefits for not being pathetic babies…
The alliance have had that 50% honor buff since Legion. 4 years? If they want to keep giving the alliance unfair advantages, they need to allow horde players to merc in WM too, then.

For the average player the world, wpvp, warfronts, island expiditions, wqs, lfr, base mythics, reputations and more lost all/most of thier functional value a month into bfa.
Players whom are not fools mite at best do the carrot quest as a group for a few hrs. As soon as the quest is done wm stays right back off.
Wm is only valuable for leveling. And only for its exp bonus.
The only content that retains value for the average player are raids, rated atena/bgs, and 15 plus mythics. Notice its sll instanced.
If horde where in allies shoes they would do the same.
Plan and simply blizzards wm, world, and sharding all failed.

Spy is great, I’ve used it since at least middle of Warlords.
Although the information gathered from it isn’t perfect – it constantly picks up people who are on flight paths for example. It also can be fooled because it only detects a player if it detects their action in the log so staying stealthed in a big group you can sneak around it.
How would taking away the % bonus for Alliance fix the problem? Taking it away would only make less Alliance turn on WM because there wouldn’t be any incentive.
Also, blizz never took away your WM bonus. They just increased the reward for the underdog by 20%. You sound like the kid who is crying because the other kid got a slightly bigger cookie.
They could have done that but it would have done nothing to remedy the initial problem of the Horde having no one to fight in war mode.

Or did you not read my question? I wasn’t talking about the volume of complaints. I was talking about the content of the complaints. Almost all of them stem from feeling the “other side” has an unfair advantage. An imbalance.
You can pretend that somehow Horde players are different, but you’d just be fooling yourself.
I wasnt making any claims as to Horde Threads. You said that the threads regarding alliance aren’t also about imbalance. I said you clearly haven’t visited many Alliance complaint threads. Because wooo boy, some posts and threads from the Alliance really take the cake. However it may not have been as obvious to you as it was to me.
Yea I heard people talking about that while leveling my Alliance alt. But why 25? We only have to kill 10 Alliance on our weekly…

Lol the poster thinks the average person is dum enough to keep thier flag on longer then a few hrs tops.
The second the carrot quest is done the flag stays right back off for most people.
