So I am talking to a friend at work who plays alliance and I told him I play it too which I don’t… He said he forgot to turn WM off on Monday night because the Alliance turn theirs off Monday nights so when the Reset calculates the number of people in WM it drops the alliance way down to always get the 30% buff… If this is true then That Buff needs to be removed ASAP because that kind of exploit is a direct violation of your rules …

The buff should have never been in the game in the first place. It’s unfair regardless of which side it is on. Figure out how to balance the game by not giving one side an unfair advantage, please.

Maybe I don’t know, free server x-fers to alliance?

Well I for myself can vouch I don’t complain about stupid stuff.

Yeah the buff is annoying for the Horde, I can understand that.

While it was good at first as an incentive it’s been too long to still have it available, either the Alliance sucks so bad at PvP they need more people coming, or is Blizz just being lazy to remove it.

If they are waiting for it to be balanced or the Horde to not have enough people to switch it to the other side then that is bulls*it. But I don’t wanna dive too deep on this

Just stop derailing threads with other topics, that is all I am asking.

Well the thread is about the buff, so talking about the buff I don’t feel is derailing it. But very well!

It’s at least partly due to the extreme avoidance of communication at all levels of Blizz that people end up with misinformation, which they repeat, and it gets repeated further down the line.

I think the guy may very well have been mistaken.

To be fair, the thread is about the conditions which apply the buff, not the determined values of the buff. A trivial distinction, I know, but meh.

Horde complained about Alliance buff because its objectively unfair. 10% to both faction is what fair.

No, but I don’t use tokens, I still pay with money each month.
