I am. Its how i do it.
It really isnt all that hard once you get used to it. A quick glance tells you everything you need to know 
You dont watch them. You glance at them. Take them in at your peripheral level. The information provided becomes like muscle memory.
Reptition. Eventually you get used to it. And i dont know what version of DBM I have, but it doesnt display boss ability timers. So after about day 3-4 of a season, its useless to me as well. Run through everything once or twice and now im able to spot the telegraphs
And this is my problem with most addons. It adds MORE screen clutter by duplicating information thats already given. I dont need a fancy thing popping up midscreen from weak auras to tell me ive got a clearcast proc.

This is why I don’t currently use it.
I certainly hope allowing us more customization is part of that.
Does it matter? How someone chooses to set up their UI is a personal preference.
