I only want neighbors I can war against as head of an HOA with a strict ruling on hunter pets.

Until we can actually interact with any of this, it’s all just talk.

Garrison’s were supposed to be able to be placed in any of the Warlord’s zones…

Guess how that turned out.

So excited for this concept! Would love to see customizable outsides of homes, even if it’s as small as the color of the mailbox and maybe door wreaths? Oh, door mats?! Lawn decor?! Any of these things!

I love that they are taking the approach of “everyone should have a house.”

I hope they start with a few zones and then expand as they go forward

Liking what I’m seeing. Looking forward to more updates, especially what the houses themselves can look like.

I am cautiously optimistic

The neighborhoods sound interesting.

So can each of your characters have a house? Or is it basically one (or two, one per faction?) house per account?

I love the fact that we can come and go with our friends regardless of faction!! And the fact that there are neighborhoods, and we get to choose whether we’re in a private neighborhood or a public one. That’s huge!!

As an elf fanatic, I’m a little disappointed by the fact that Durotar/Elwynn are the only options, but I do understand the reasoning. I hope, at least, that we’ll have plenty of customization that will at least let us make our houses match our characters’ racial themes, even if the zones themselves are limited (for now).

(Since Midnight is coming soon… maybe Quel’Thalas could be the next zone on your list?.. teehee…)

Edit: I’ll also add a concern of mine, which is public neighborhoods being filled up with empty houses being belonging to inactive players. I agree that players absolutely shouldn’t lose their houses when their subscription lapses, but perhaps the house should be moved to a different phase? With the option to transfer it back into an active phase once the player returns to the game? I don’t think it’s fair if it’s “first come first serve” and folks can just squat in the top neighborhoods without actually logging in.

I want a bustling public neighborhood, personally. If a player is in Neighborhood #3 and they go inactive… they should probably get bumped into Neighborhood #1534. Same plot, same decorations, and the option to transfer to an available “top” neighborhood when they come back to the game… but they shouldn’t just be able to take up prime real estate in Neighborhood #3 indefinitely.
