I am almost at honor level 1,000 if I get this bug too I will quit in a heartbeat blizzard. Hurry up and fix it for these people.

I had this bug happening to me 8 months ago:
When i was about to hit 250 honor level my honor reseted to level 7. I opened several tickets and bug report (with the honor levels achivments as proof) and still nothing. If by any miracle this gets solved there is still no garantee that we will get our honor level back… this is just demoralizing

Seems like they care about this as much as the millions of items they deleted from peoples guild banks.

its a shame for sure at least there’s a article blizz put out about the lost honor levels but who know when/if itll get fixed ima keep posting till im +600 honor levels on my account

I don’t understand what the holdup is
Stuff like reputations and honor level are very easy to cross-reference for accuracy… players literally have achievements showing they earned X progress regarding both
Unlike the guild banks bug where there is no lingering evidence in the armory/achievements for a lot of items, honor level and reputations have achievements associated with them and so it should be an easy fix. For example, someone who has a past Exalted achievement but is now incorrectly showing as “Neutral” (due to TWW bugs) should be very easy to spot on their (dev’s) end
I think for simplicity’s sake, they could just restore players to “the last known highest” honor level (…which is very easy to verify via the official armory) with whatever hotfix they eventually roll out. No doubt they have backup “snapshots” of character armories, so going back and sifting thru them for the last known highest honor level is doable - then the hotfix would simply be targeted towards players who’s “current” (buggy/post-TWW) honor level is lower than a past honor level
Because it’s supposed to be impossible for honor level to ever “go down”, them figuring out a database query/hotfix to identify the affected players should be fairly straightforward (simply comparing post-TWW honor levels against pre-TWW honor levels)

Just confirming that this is till a problem. I’ve gained 35+ honour levels this season, and I am still missing all the ones from before. I still have those achievements, and rewards. I am really hoping that Blizzard will take the time to solve this issue that has been going on since TWW Prepatch. They might not have the logs of previous honour levels, but they can see our achievements and rewards from before. It’s incredibly disappointing at this time, and I really hope that our continued efforts to bring light to this topic will result in this being fixed. I feel as though I have missed out on a lot of good rewards that I should have earned this season.
I understand and appreciate that the devs are working on a lot of things, and are likely trying their best. Ultimately, they likely cannot prioritize a few of us lowly PvPers whining about our honour levels, but I do truly hope that they will soon find the time to solve this issue. I have faith <3
still a problem i lost 600 honor levels id be gettin close to honor lvl 1000 if i didnt lose all my work

Well this is a surprise …
The pessimist in me had assumed they would just brush it under the rug with the way the guild banks bug was handled
But perhaps for now faith in the integrity of the game is somewhat restored, if only a little. TWW kinda shook my faith in this company with the sheer amount of bugs/glitches this time around
I’m still going to lurk this bugs forum though, I’m curious if they’ll restore people’s lost gold and lost reputations - I guess we’ll see
imo no one should ever lose hard-earned progress in an MMORPG, “never lose progress” is basically the unspoken/cardinal rule of the MMORPG genre. These other folks who lost similar forms of grindy progress like missing gold, missing reputations, missing items, etc also need to be made whole
