Reflective shield is currently double proccing and doing twice the amount of damage it is supposed to. The issue is that reflective shield is working by default even if you don’t put talents into it.
When talents are put into reflective shield, the effect doubles and reflects 100% of what Power Word: Shield absorbs, instead of the 50% (with 5 talent points) it is supposed to.
I suspected this. I was watching Hydra do beta 2vs2 the other day and Reflective Shield was doing almost 20,000 damage per match. He was out-damaging his DPS partners every match and Reflective Shield was easily 80% of his damage (SWP:10%, Mind Blast: 5%, SW:D 5%). It just seemed so wildly overtuned to me I was wondering if it was a bug or not. Disc is doing way more damage than Shadow in beta 2s lmao.

Yeah, reflective shield should be doing 50% of the aborb value. Right now it’s 100%. It’s a huge bug that I’m surprised hasn’t gotten more attention. Priests are doing an absurd amount of damage because of this bug.
Reflective shield doesn’t seem to work at all now. or at least only occasionally. I consistently keep the shield up while questing and very rarely see it in my combat log. it should be reflecting 30% of damage absorbed currently, but an enemy can burn through my entire shield without taking any damage from it.
Not saying you’re wrong but the damage isn’t ‘your’ damage unless you cast it on yourself. The damage numbers should appear only for the person receiving the shield. Should show up in the combat log for recipient of the shield. So if you never shield yourself, you’ll never see the damage numbers on your screen.
I have seen it crit off DoT’s, it’s also dropping off in effect too soon after PWS goes up making it strait up not work after 2 or 3 reflects even though PWS is still up.
Game engine isn’t working properly at all.
Vanish buff (improved stealth) is on a delay.
Cloak of shadows is also on a delay
Vanish forced enemy combat / target drop is also again on a delay.
None of these delays should exist with 10ms batching.
Additionally combo points can’t be used from a dead body (this was a feature from TBC to the end of MoP) for the use of refreshing slice and dice.
Also CC DR’s are IMO busted as hell; tho this may be authentic and I just remember it entirely backwards?
Just so you know, The damage is attributed to the priest who casts the shield. No matter who the shield is on, both in the combat log and on addons when it does work.
Did you happen to also notice that mobs when stunned (if your stationary) pivot to put their backs to you (which I imagine was designed as a QOL change but I totally hate it) and I don’t think that was a feature in TBC. Feel like that only started Shadowlands if not BFA.

So crazy that something so game breaking can still be bugged.
Here’s hoping it gets fixed soon. I’m going to submit another bug report and if you haven’t submitted one yet I’d recommend submitting one so this gets looked at sooner rather than later.
It seemed a little better last I was on but I don’t have gold to waste on respecing just to try something that’s broken. I definitely wish they’d at least acknowledge the issue and that they’re working on it. Anything is better than the silence.
I suppose all there is to do is submit another bug report ticket. Maybe I just start doing one every day if that’s what it takes to get some acknowledgement =/
