Is this a problem for anyone else? My priest is a pandaren, and I’d like to race change it to something else, but after purchasing the race change, I find myself unable to complete the race change. When I go to choose a different race, all the alternate race options are completely greyed out for me. Bear in mind, I have long since completed nearly all allied race quests on both factions and have them all available, so that’s not the issue. I just cannot choose a new race, it only lets me customize my current one.

Known issue some just seem to be taking longer then other stick to the main thread where there will be updates. If it hasnt processed in 24hrs opne a problem with purchase ticket.

I saw that, and assumed it was a different issue since it says ‘faction change’ and not ‘race change’.

I’m teaming up with Darth in the assumption that they’re likely stemming from the same issue. But rather than the CS thread that was linked, I would point you to posting in the Bug Report forum thread. No data is collected from this forum, so posting in the CS one will not really do anything for you. Chiming in over on Bug Reports though, that gets it seen by the proper staff.

I’m having the same issue with my Pandaren priest. I’ve seen others mentioning their characters, regardless of class the common thread seems to be Pandaren.
My guess is there’s a bug around Pandaren initially being considered a “neutral faction” so the race swap can’t recognize any other option. It’ll get fixed soon, I’m sure.

If you look a few posts up, I linked the post over in Bug Reports. You and anyone else who comes by and sees this really need to post over there. As keeps being said, posting here does nothing, I’m afraid. Over there though, the Devs and their staff do see it and it helps for them to know how many people are bumping into this issue.

The only solution they gave me on tickets was to receive a refund, which I’m not satisfied with because I bought part with gold and I can’t buy WoW Token in my region with IRL money. This issue will be resolved in a future patch as per this Blizzard article: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/336676
This is extremely frustrating because no patch in sight will fix this error and no other solution offered works for me.

I just saw for hotfix may 4. They r fixing pandaren race change. So looks like we can race change tomorrow!
