so im doing the one with the rats and you gota count how many you kill and such but whenever I do the third lock mechanism it keeps failing.
Before anyone else ask yes I have been using pen and paper and the fact that I made it to the third lock passing two previously tells you that I am indeed clearing the statues off old pads before pressing submit.
I am now leaning more on this is a bug and I need somoene to confirm if it is a bug.
I had ZERO issues after lock 1 and my only issue was that I was an idiot.
I used this chart. Finished it about 3 and a half hours ago.

Yeah the top part of that is WAY WAY WAY above my pay grade hahaha
Make sure you’re killing any catacomb rats that may be near any pads. I made it to #6 up until one of them triggered it the same time I hit submit 
I saw that in Discord, I luckily did not have that happen to me so guess to be sure, kill all the rats!

Yes, I encountered the same issue while working on the third lock. I tried resetting the dungeon, but that didn’t resolve it.
I’ve been tracking the rats using both an addon and manual notes, but it still failed at the third lock.
This seems like a bug to me.
Also, be sure to check behind the Ogre skull pile in the room with the shaded key doors, the rats on that side of the catacombs have a tendency to gather behind it and stay there. Very easy to overlook.
Also, kill the normal rats when you’re done counting. The number of them that can exist is capped, I hear that survivors can prevent the right amount from spawning on the following step.
Hey everyone just an update here it was me being an idiot I pressed the begin button every time submitted and started a new lock which kept resetting the puzzle back to 7 and 6 which was why I kept failing on the third lock.
So anyone out there doing this puzzle click begin only once, and after wards only click submit

Glad you figured it out! My issue was not moving the statues afterwards.
I was about to post the same thing! First 2 puzzles are always a success. the 3rd is ALWAYS a failure! I have checked multiple charts, and the 3rd lock is the same on all of them. But nothing I can do will let me past it! I know how the puzzle works, it just constantly fails on the 3rd lock. All rats are dead, so there is 0 chance that a catacomb rat is on a plate. And I always double check that each plate is empty, except for the one that needs statues. AND I always double check that the color is correct for the number of statues that it should have. Seems like a bug, or maybe that the game hates me! Or both!

Plate number 4 is lit up blue…but there’s nothing on it. I’m on the 7th puzzle and it is now lit up with nothing at all on it… I have to put 3 statues on plate 2 to finish this but I can’t complete it because plate 4 is still active…with nothing on it…like… this takes too long to do it all over again and again. This is the 2nd time that particular thing has happened to me. I took screen shots but don’t know how to post them in here.
There isn’t a bug. You need to make sure that every rat and pad are accounted for. Trust me. The 8 0’clock puzzle is intact. I encountered my own errors e.g… making sure that I have the correct pad and it’s writings. Making sure the rats are accounted for. The only bug is human. Keep trying.
I died on 3rd
there was a rat in the room with the gate.
Targetable with macro but can’t kill due to “not in line of sight”, and it never comes out.
Decided to try again tomorrow and went to watch Bourne movies instead.
There’s no bug, you need to target the crystal inside & use the Relic of Crystal Connections and on the upper green crystal above the door to exit
use the macro and weakaura lol it does the counting for you and even tells you the answer
I didn’t say there was a bug, just what happened and that I would try again tomorrow.
