The only thing Rshams have going for them is that spirit link is a niche tool that lets people cheese a few bosses, thats it. the only reason they get brought.
The aoe healing is lacking and gets out healed by other classes
Every spell feels like a stone moving because of the haste scaling being crashed into the ground
Mastary is dog water since theres 1 boss which puts people on low health. its never going to be useful with paladins cranking their aoe’s none stop

Indeed, Restoration Shamans and Feral DPS deserve more attention. Despite months of log data supporting the community’s feedback, it seems Blizzard is IGNORING these concerns.! But the devs still turn a blind eye and treat Cata like the redheaded stepchild of the WoW family.

Almost every single top guild has a Resto Shaman, none of them use a Holy Priest.
That’s because Discipline is superior! Restoration shamans are competent; they just require a bit more attention. The same applies to feral druids. A minor buff could make them more viable. We’re not seeking major buffs, just the ability to be competitive! Now if you would please refrain from trolling posts and contributing in a constructive manner.
That’s because Balance is superior! Thank you for exposing your own hypocrisy. You can stop complaining about Feral now because Balance exists.

This thread was pretty useless to start with (resto shaman is perfectly fine), so derailing it by arguing with a feral druid one-trick poster is still thematically on topic.
feral is the best ot in the game. resto sham is needed in every raid to keep up ancestral vigor on tanks. neither need buffs.
resto is fine the way it is wrath of the lich king was rise of holy palys and cata killed them off its so hard to find holy palys but disk is always king holy priest a joke restro druids mid strong but dont realy need to bring
