Don’t care how, just do it please. There is no class/role in the game that is worse than warrior tank atm. If you’re lazy just add a flat dmg reduction passive and at least one more defensive cd and call it a day. Thanks : )

Yeah prot really is on life support right now. You have no idea how many heroics i’ve been in with a warrior tank and watching their health get shredded. And people who keep saying “they’re fine” that are prot mains need to quit spreading misinformation.

Warriors are the worst tanks in the game for the rest of the game. If you want good Warrior tanks hit Era.

I think whats happening is the Prot Warriors don’t know how to gem and gear themselves.
Don’t think it has nothing to do with gearing. Even if you know how to gear one, you still don’t bring a lot to the table: Here is what icy veins says about current prot warriors in terms of weakness:
Weaknesses:
Most of their mitigation comes from blocking, which will not always help.
Very limited defensive cooldowns compared to other tanks, Cataclysm adds none.
Much less versatile than other tanks in terms of raid utility brought.
Stigma about being unable to tank the content, making them less desired than other classes.
Yeah. Don’t play prot warrior. They don’t exist in cata.
Just face the facts and reroll. They are not fixing or balancing anything with warriors unless it is positively affecting them. “They are the baseline” remember? More like the basement.
Wrong. Prot warriors are worse than other specs in absolutely everything.
Yeah let vengeance work in pvp for prot warriors as part of their compensation package. The arena tears will be worth it.

Jokes on us. This has been massively discussed for months prior, and accurately predicted to happen (and is now upon us), and still we have radio silence.
I want to echo some of the other points in other threads here though; blood DKs are the problem here. Any buff to pwarrior, will likely require a buff to ppaladin. A nerf to blood DKs seem to be the better solution here.
Get Good Prot war is fine very good in 5 man heroics and very useful in raids. But if your part of those Absolutely meta or bust groups then find a new group I have been warrior tank on this toon Since BC classic never had trouble getting into raids or heroics.
I consistently do more dps than most Arms warriors I have seen in RDF and Fury is absolute joke right now.
