Even prot paladin/dps/dps is cringe. I saw flarkness play it and just run at healers with immunities and try to win with damage in the opener.
Thats not exactly the peak of skill or fun imo.
A tank spec shouldn’t be doing healer competitive healing to begin with.

Maybe, but i also care about the health of arena and get pretty annoyed fighting multiple tank teams each night both back-peddling around.

Everyone gets annoyed about classes they don’t like to play against, I get annoyed about rogues. I feel they have to many outs and the class is much easier than in previous expansions. I think the removal of summer buff from prot would also be a good change. That cheesy opener stuff is very cringe.
I like prot because it’s a new flavor of healer, it takes away things I can do on other healers (dispel is a big one/aoe healing) and adds new things that I can do (kick/blanket/a lot of mana)
I actually think nearly everything you don’t like about prot, is something I would change
I wasn’t saying you don’t, was just saying, I flash heal, heal, healing surge, regrowth, etc. all the time. Instants do take up probably 70-90% of my overall heals in a given match, though–depending on comp and length.
I’d be curious to see how much you’re hardcasting heals on rsham/rdruid

A spec that is entirely designed around pve with pvp not in mind shouldnt be viable for rated arenas that are balanced around healer/dps/dps.

It is very sad the stigma around prot the highest skill cap spec in pvp. People like to hate on tanks and harass people who play them because they are angry they aren’t better. I hope blizzard buffs prot and does something about the harassment of prot players.
