Issue with having frost bomb is healers having 1 dispel only, plus also things like maledicts when polymorphs need to be dispelled
Just would be punishing no matter your dispel choice

Agreed, in this meta I don’t think you could adequately balance frost bomb the way it was. Still, loved the idea of mage having a major burst that was operating on a relatively new mechanic (i.e. “bomb” on target that detonated after X timeframe). Also allowed for some awesome set ups with burst goes.
Greater frostblast, a copy of gpy + a slow. Just kidding. Frost mage needs to have enough damage to be competitive. That or deep freeze to make them cc monsters.

I don’t really think frost needs that big of a buff it just pales in comparison to fire that is the overtuned spec with gimmick spells
Wrong, frost is generally better than fire, but Fire is just vastly easier to succeed with up until tournament level
