Sorry the finger of frost rng for frost burst dps is boring and arcane spamming 1 ability isnt too fun either id like to fire mage but ima be honest being level 90 and just starting to gear im 2044 crit giving 3.44% crit which brings me at 446 item level 12.85% crit how is fire ever going to be a thing til last phase i dont really want to wait half a year to do a fire mage give them something or more crit scaling
Sadly just roll something else, I did and my hunter puts my Fire mage to shame in every freaking way especially damage and is way under geared in comparison..
And if you PVP, gl getting warriors off you with our blink ever 500 seconds and blazing Speed if you want to gimp your damage. Because when you are done with those two get aways they will be all up your you know what with all the tools Blizzard has given them now.
And if you think Sheep, Frost Nova or 2 ice blocks will help…Yeah ok, we used to have to worry about Rogues.. now we pretty much have to sweat with every freaking class just to reset the fight. Meanwhile other DPS specs just blast away with better damage that is not RNG BS.
PVP wise warriors are no issue to kill, and kinda wanted to roll a mage this xpac but just wanted to do fire so gotta wait half a year before i can and pve wise warlocks and huntards kinda top dps by a margin right now
Cata fire mage was so much fun.
Mop fire mage involves lots standing around doing nothing waiting for inferno cd (while being beaten on). When the burst goes right it’s great, but there are so many moving parts to it and all has to line up just right.
Pyro proc>frost jaw>pyro>deep>combust>pyro>inferno>pyro
All that has to be perfect and then you have the target to 25ish % health and no more good options.
Frost is pretty boring. If there were more brain freeze procs it would feel better.
I don’t want to have to level my hunter. We’ll see how it goes with better gear.
