Basically every feral feels the same way, it’s a bloody joke how little our healing does. Blizzard you really need to addres this issue asap, we had a recent regrowth buff and it did absolutely nothing. For a class thats supposedly a hybrid why can a warrior, dk, DH, lock and many more out heal us by a mile? I get that we have good damage and cc but so do many other classes that can live x3 as long, we’re one of the squishiest specs in the game being a leather wearer and our cds are hardly impactful compared to other leather wearers such as a DH who has blur on a short cd, darkness, and an immunity longer than 5 sec, all while doing the most broken dmg in the game. We have bear form which essentially just turns us into a warrior/plate wearer while we’re locked doing nothing, frenzied regen got nerfed to the ground despite the fact it had a cd and could only be used passively sitting in bear. Barkskin hardly does anything for a spec thats so squishy, sometimes I can take so much damage in a stun while skins up that my heals has to throw a Pain Supp on top so I dont die. What happened to being a support class? There’s literally no use to regrowth you waste a global and get hit in 1 global for double of what it heals, much rather use entagling roots 100% of the time than waste a global on a regrowth. I want to make it clear, we don’t need some sort of juicy defensive cd like a bubble or die by the sword etc. Our defensives should be much like it was in Shadowlands where we escape and heal up and if there’s no option to do so we can at least live by using skin in a stun or going into bear and using frenzied regend instead of of having to waste our skin basically immediately in the game.
Not only do I think feral heals need a buff, I think hybrids across the board need buffs. Long gone are the days where a healer wasn’t essential in 2v2. It’s very well known we have a healer shortage, why not bring back more of that double dps diversity into the game? at the moment double dps is a complete joke, mongo everything and secure a kill by 2nd go or die is a pretty cheesy 2v2 experience that everyone at higher rating knows how to counter. It’s not big of an ask to revive hybrid heals you have to keep in mind that the more time spent healing the less time spent doing Dmg and we’ll never heal as much as a healer anyways, think back to shadowlands when you actually had a lot of that balance.
