Buff Arms please

I’m definitely getting more than just a hamstring on all those classes the majority of the time.

Hamstring is a non-issue.

It’s 100% all the different modifiers Arms has as well as how it does damage; Legion had it right.

Ehh, idk about that ms giving rage & doing little damage was weird.

There was something about slam spam…

overpower having two stacks and being the catalyst to making MS hit hard is the most destructive thing to ever happen to the spec and ill gladly die on that hill
give me shattered defensives playstyle back w/ slam actually hitting hard and arms suddenly becomes big ungabunga fun again instead of feeling like a chore to play

Huh? Have you not played other melee?

-Ww does (although it’s refreshed through auto attacks)
-dk does AND it costs a rune which is a pretty significant damage opportunity cost
-dh has it attached to throw glaive which with all the changes and losing tier set does no damage, doesn’t have full uptime, costs fury & a global, and only lasts 6 seconds.
-Ret paladin used to, but now it’s attached to blade and is dispellable and is a baby slow
-survival’s wing clip is basically a reskin of hamstring
-enh is really the only one that actually has a damage slow baked in now with ice blade and frost shock.

Then there’s Assassination that passively applies chains of ice with autos. :dracthyr_crylaugh:

I think war/dk/heal will be a good comp as well. I have a friend I’m going to run this comp with some early season. I have tried a few turbo (enhance) and it isn’t working very well right now. Maybe I can try turbo after the shaman reworks. But yea, I think TSG will be fun.

EDITED: I have also been running with Ret and it’s okay, but my ret friend is really good ret. I don’t think Ret/war/heal will be as good as TSG overall. Surprisingly Frost mage/arms/heal is working VERY well for me as well. S4 in DF I tried frost mage/Arms and it wasn’t as fun. My mage friend knows not to CC too much around me though lol because everything gets cleaved, so he is also running some kind of mage cleave build. We are getting wins and it’s fun.

I personally don’t like spear, so I don’t run it. If they buff spear, I probably still won’t run it. I think you need more crit with spear builds and I don’t run heavy crit builds.

I also liked the burstier damage profile of war when it was broken, but I see why that got nerfed. I currently like damage attached to roar and rend, because even when I do get kited I know I’m getting some damage out.

I totally hear the complaints, though, about only getting a couple globals vs stuff like hunter/mage/lock on my burst before being kited and it feels really bad to csmash, op x2 and mortal strike for 1mil vs a clothy on a 6.7 million health pool.

That being said, even if mortal strike did double damage and rend was removed, I’d hate it even more. What if there was something like the old battlelord legendary, where the only modifier was C-smash, and that was what got reset with OP/slam and ms damage was flat buffed and rend was nerfed to compensate, do you think that would that be a better playstyle? Bigger MS all the time, more uptime and more uptime on cds, and “chunkier” damage.

I thik you’d probably need to play spear with that kind of damage, though.

Enhance is a spec with some of the best utility, but is also easily the most complicated spec rotationally speaking in pvp (and 2nd most in pve behind arcane mage). It has like 9 rotational pve buttons with different priorities and 3 different cds with different timers; it’s extremely clunky and most people don’t play it well

It’s something that often ends up being really hard to tune in pvp since shadowlands for that reason ever since they reworked it from being a 1 button stormstrike bot. It’s damage may actually be pretty good now after the buffs, but I’ve only ever watched saul play it (and played it poorly myself XD)

Both ele and enhance reworks look INSANELY strong and awesome. Moonkin one looks better too, but they really need to rework the druid base tree still with 4 dead points per spec :confused:

All these comps are VERY strong specs with good synergy with war; i think youre set up for a great start to the season!

Arms is fine, im saying this as a 100% chadarms player, i’m refuse to play betafury

Im topping damage 95% of time, depending if enemy team has mage frosts or balance druid.

theres just so many pvp modifier nerfs that put arms in a bad feeler. csmash avatar, overpower/ms stacking. exec precision, fatality, unhinged, all nerfed in pvp… they need to remove some stuff, not all obv. and revert sharpen back to 6s duration or 20s cd

Crazy how wrath/starfire do more than starsurge atm, but starfall giga tops bg damage… and they nerfed boomy st and buffed starfall :frowning:

Arms is fine as is. The other classes will be tuned and more balance brought. Mobility should be toned down slightly as the only change

you can buff arms all you want but if the other classes don’t skip leg day you’ll still be worse.
