Okay, we nerf Gargoyle into the ground, buff SS. And you get to be mid tier with shadowmourne.

They should nerf unholy across the board. It’s too strong

Not really, in fact the specs than need nerf are ferals, rets (due to previous uneeded buffs), perhaps fire mages, survival hunters.
So Unholy Dk gets to be #1 for the entire expansion completely uncontested (other than Affliction in Ulduar) and now that it’s not it’s a problem?

No it shouldn’t. Gargoyle could never get below a 1s GCD time in OG wrath. Going below 1s GCD is a Legion change, and pets chain-casting without any delay between casts is an MoP change. We kept the MoP change, which means Gargoyle is buffed in comparison to OG.

If there are players parsing 99 as a 2h Scourge Strike UH DK amongst all the thousands of Dual Wield ToGC BiS UH DK’s, then 2h Scourge Strike UH DK is perfectly viable.
There’s nothing else to it. 2H Scourge Strike is completely fine, that’s a fact. Just because you perform extremely poorly with it, doesn’t mean it’s bad, Shadows.

A handful of players, who are the most skilled and most geared. That doesn’t mean it’s viable.
The most skilled and geared players aren’t using 2H, yet there are players parsing 99 as 2H. You simply have no clue what you’re talking about, sorry.

It’s plenty viable. Most specs are plenty viable, but many aren’t optimal.

Then explain why almost no one has been playing 2h unholy for all of Wrath and are only now starting to after getting Shadow’s Edge. The answer is they have to now because the weapon has to be equipped for the infusion quests. Those that don’t have it yet are still using DW weapons.
