The ‘song and dance’ was someone (I believe it was the OP, although it was so long ago I can’t remember) making the BS claim that it was removed from the BMAH and only available from the BMAH crates. Which wasn’t true, it was simply added to the BMAH crates, and that much was pointed out in some patch notes.
The actual statement from the GM states that they couldn’t find any information about the Brutosaur being removed from the BMAH, but did confirm that it was available in the crates as part of that update.
The contents of the BMAH are chosen by RNG, they’re not on a cycle. So it is entirely possible for the Brutosaur to not appear for months, even years, while other mounts appear instead because RNG is RNG.
I didn’t say it was on a cycle. But if a year went by and it appears on no auction houses, it’s a sham.
How many realms are there? 200? 200x365 = 73000 days/chances of it appearing. If it doesn’t appear in a year, the frequency of it appearing based on “It’s only rng!” is not credible.
Lok thar ogar friend , ive noticed that people replying negatively to these threads are one of the following :
A- has the mount doesnt care
B- doesnt care enjoys trolling
C- doesn’t have the mount nor the gold to get it no more, tries to derail or troll the thread
I paid over 5 boosting communities to cover all Na region a hefty sum of gold to help me on every reset to catch the mount, have premium tsm + last time i checked 87 mill gold spread on several low pop servers , so you see my network is real so i can say for sure since june 14 it has not appeared , before june 14 you could see it atleast once rarely twice per month and it was super hard to get because theres plenty of wealthy players out there with a similar network to mine .
I mean there was a queue with the boosting communities i was working with .
How hard is for people to wrap their heads around the idea that either the hotfix broke it or blizzard removed it without saying anything to the players , i mean we DO know how unsync is blizzard with their community so the possibility exists.
And yep, I just found the original thread, it was the OP making that BS claim. So I’m not surprised that he’s still pushing his BS because he hasn’t seen it on the BMAH yet.

I doubt said boosting communities had the manpower for that ridiculous stunt, and I seriously doubt they’d have bothered entertaining your lunacy. They probably just took your gold said “Nah, it’s gone, we never saw it.” and you probably bought it because they just told you what you wanted to hear.

I have the mount. I worked hard to earn that gold. I find it extremely convenient even though I’m not much of a seller at all. I see no legitimate reason for removal. I think the BMAH placement was always intended to be temporary prior to permanent removal after it had showed up a few times. People were willing to quit over this issue, so they told them what they needed to hear.
I think the future of the game will be increasingly more removal of high value prestige items without notice to keep the FOMO addicts subscribe lest they lose out forever on something, anything.

Nothing in the game is purely RNG. Drop rates can be changed, and they are not the only factor that goes into calculations. If the appearance rate has been changed so that it will appear in only 1 BMAH every 10 years, that’s RNG also. But basically dishonest to say it’s still showing up.
I see you haven’t read the post you are replying to but need to cover for what appears to be a stealth change in the game.
Unless i’ve missed something big, there is no such update and all that was “changed” is a gm told op that the brutosaurs drop from black market caches. Basically, we’re speculating on something that may or may not have happened but some people are assuming it did because reasons.
So what you’re saying is Blizzard has never broken anything or made unannounced changes in the history of the game, so this guy’s hard data must be false.
The BMAH is different for every realm, and it changes every 24 hours. The OP, in his delusional state, thinks that because he hasn’t seen it since June on his realm, then clearly that’s the case on ALL realms. It isn’t.
The only thing Blizzard did as far as the Brutosaur was concerned was add it as something you could get from the BMAH crates. It will still appear on the BMAH and I am sure it has, multiple times. It just hasn’t appeared for the OP.
I have a feeling that even if a dev does reply ‘working as intended’ you’ll continue to insist that it’s broken/they’re lying because you haven’t seen it. You’re not going to be convinced, right? Suggesting that anyone trying to do so is ‘trolling’ seems like evidence of that to me.
Maybe it’s easier to think of the BMAH as just another type of ‘drop’. If something has a 1% drop chance and it takes you 2000 attempts to get it, by attempt 1999 are you going to assume it’s bugged or are you going to assume you’re unlucky?

The entire gold making community of reddit moved to ensure every single newbie to the AH could learn how to make gold. I had never seen a community so helpful as back then.

I made 5 mil without even using the AH. I went the route of farming gold instead. Slower for sure, but that makes sense (or it should be that way) since farming actually generates new gold as opposed to the AH which is just moving it between players.
BfA really was a great expansion for goldmaking. It was the richest I’ve ever been!
