What do you guys think about replacing the vendor on the long boi for a mailbox? We could always use yak or mammoth for vendor.

I said there would be big issues with that mount going too BMAH and you’d never be able to get it for less then 5 Million and it would max out if it ever did get listed…should of brought it when you could…I brought mine day one of BfA going live…

It was never announced that it was being removed from the vendor. Wowhead datamined that the achievement was being turned into a feat of strength. Only after weeks of discussion did they finally confirm that it was being removed.

Blizzard was never going to announce they were removing that Long Bio…as you said they finally had to admit it was once it was found out…

yeah that is called a predatory tactic , to squeeze the wow junkies into panic buying 700 usd in tokens to get the brutosaur .
either way seems fishy that after the hotfix of june14 it has not showed in NA or EU and before that hotfix you could see it atleast once every month sometimes twice .

december 2 still no brutosaur on black market AH since june 14 hotfix .
they broke it and have no intention to fix it gg no wonder everyone is quitting .

I stand by nothing being broken at all. The available auctions for a given day are random. There’s no pattern to it. There’s no ‘it should show up every x days’. Of course if someone’s convinced that something’s wrong it’s going to be impossible to convince them otherwise until it actually shows up, but at that point rather than admit they were wrong they’ll just say that Blizzard ‘fixed’ it even if it wasn’t broken in the first place.

There’s no bug, it just hasn’t appeared in favour of other BMAH items.

Weeks of discussion? Try same day. In fact, try minutes apart. The post that highlighted the fact that there was a feat of strength for the Brutosaur, was made on November 21st at 8:32pm, Kaivax replied to that post at 8:41pm informing everyone that yes, the mount was being removed from vendors and would appear on the BMAH.

A few weeks later on December 6th there was a follow-up post, because people were claiming the AH NPC was being removed from the Brutosaur, and Kaivax stated that no, the AH NPC was not being removed from the mount.

This is false. I know you need to create factoids that support blizzard where none exist and the truth makes it look bad. But it actually was a couple of weeks between wowhead’s discovery of the removal of the mount and the admission by blizzard that it was going to be removed. There was a lot of heated discussion during that time. A lot of players had plenty of time to get upset before the truth came out, which was it was being removed without notification, and if wowhead hadn’t discovered this a lot of players would have been surprised when it was too late to buy it.

A GM confirmed it had been removed from the BMAH. Was he lying or incompetent? Or was it just part of the plan all along to say it was going to be in the BMAH even though it would only ever be there a few months and then permanently removed to boost the FOMO potential?

So I should be using my brutosaur mount to make other players feel bad about not having one, as the devs intended?

What exactly is a “song and dance”? When a GM says something that is false, why is it the player’s fault that he believed someone who was making it up as they went along?

If it was still in the BMAH people would occasionally be seeing it. If it has not been seen there in a year on any realm, it’s not there anymore.

One one auction house? Maybe. Across all auction houses? No. It would be appearing occasionally across that many realms if it was still available.
