About half of our healers are “weekend warriors” that its the only time they can play.
The tanks i help out because they do have a lot of consumes to use. I donated about 50 st/agi scrolls to them to help as well as a selection of stam, and agi food.
They had a 1% wipe to enrage, 6:20. There were 5 Haste pots and 4 Destruction pots used. You would think once they realized how close it was going to be, they would use some potions. I can understand being frugal (I am), but maybe when the boss you’re progressing on is at 5%, everyone is alive and your raid addons are screaming that Berserk is coming in 10 seconds, you just spend that extra 7 gold to make sure you kill it, you know?
They had people popping consumes and others not, they need to restructure that raid team and kick the dead weight.
He’s actually one of the people griefing his raid team.
Being in a guild where half the people use consumes and the other half doesnt is a waste of time… Sunwell is not made for “non consumes” runs. I would instantly leave. Brutallus is one thing, but try twins with that /lol
Yes, a lot of them are not using consumes, which is something that has been brought in our review. We had about 20 non recorded wipes before that where we just used internal logs and it was discussed as a raid to not use heavy consumes ubtil we fixed the mechanics issues the group was having.
The recorded attempts was where we consistantly were hitting under 50% so we started live logging instead of just internal logs.
We were having issues with the burns being spread, people with burn staying in slashes, exc.
We were actually going to be using full consunes for the next pull, but we downed him on that one.
They need to spend the time to be prepared. If they can only play for the hours of raiding and expect other people to do their farming for them then they shouldn’t be using their 2-3 hours to raid.
then tell them that in SWP everyone stands!
tell them to stand and get it done
or reach out to your local commisarr so they can be lobotomized and turned into biomechanical servitors for those who fight
but because they help you actually meet the DPS requirements and lighten the load on healers, Bruttallus, Twins and Muru are best approached as 3 different DPS checks that go up from one boss to the other each more tight than the last.
Casual is doing the dailies on the island 151-170g a day for 35mins and can provide you with more than enough gold for a full suite of consumes on a progression night.
Sunwell and the Isle were the beginning of the change on raid-prep philosophy were blizzard actively tried to make it easier by giving very quick and easy access to gold and quests that provide you with “decent” consumes to use for those who had a “no consumes ever” mindset. Wrath will also follow this trend by giving you very quick dailies for gold.
