So juat found out from some info on youtube that for the 20th anniversary event to get the full t2 set will cost you 300 of a token called “Bronze Tokens” and you can earn 50 a week from the raid, questing, dailies etc…wtf???
This basically means it will take you 6 weeks to get ONE full set of gear for ONE character and this event is lasting for 75 days…what is this nonsense? I cant take 75 days of PTO to grind day and night for these tokens for my tier set I want and I have 3 characters I want it on so basically im not getting it, on top of having to delay m+ and raids and all other things
A Youtubers Job is to create drama. They call this drama 'content". 90% of it is BS and click bait
As for T2 Sets
First is 60
Next is 40
All others are 20.
Coins
Once you hit 100 coins farmed “the hard way” then coins will drop from ALL other various sources. Bosses, world bosses ect ect. Basically it will be like Remix. First month the currency is hard to get. After that it will be coming out of your ears
No. It’s a full cosmetic set. You aren’t collecting pieces of a set, you’re buying a token that gives you the full T2 set for whichever class. It’s a transmog set. Goes into your collections tab, so it’s account wide. Buying sets for every class is about 320 Bronze IIRC.
The first set you buy costs 60 Bronze, the second one costs 40, the rest are all discounted to 20. After you’ve collected 100 Bronze from the event, the amount of Bronze per activity slightly increases.
Example:
I want T2 Pally set. I spend 60 bronze. I get the thing from the vendor. I click the thing. I now have the Pally T2 set available for all of my characters that can wear it from my transmog collection.
I want the DK T2 Set. I spend 40 Bronze, buy the thing, click the thing, add it to my transmog collection.
I want the Druid T-2 set. I spend 20 Bronze, buy the thing, etc.
I want the rest of the sets; I spend 20 Bronze, etc., for each.
A bit more at ease and I can be a bit lax with it. From everything ive been seeing and reading it was "grind for a week to get enough tokens for ONE PIECE like shoulders, helmet, pants etc
That is completely untrue like I said in my post above you are basically going to be time gated to your first 100 coins but once you hit that first 100 coins you unlock an achievement that makes the coins drop from various sources in game. Dungeon boss kills etc etc etc
Like I said in my post it will be like remix the first month the currency will feel very rare and hard to get after that it will be coming out of your ears blizzard has already confirmed in a blue post that they intend for players to be able to get all the t2 sets but they will feel hard to get at first.
If you’ve got the time to watch a YouTube video you’ve got the time to get on the PTR with stuff like this don’t listen to YouTubers get on the PTR yourself and get the information first hand
By getting on the PTR myself I knew most of the YouTubers were full of crap weeks ago. Heck a lot of them don’t even get on the PTR themselves they just go off information they’ve read on various websites
PTR has been down for days. But I seriously have no clue where OP gets their fake news from and why it’s so hard to look at the official Blizz news page.
Between you and me I don’t think the op ever read anything anywhere at all. I think they did what a lot of people do on Facebook and it’s basically create a drama-filled post trying to get people to give them the information they want so they don’t have to do the research themselves.
Did you see the complete irrational way they reacted to my reply? after I gave them the information they wanted? It’s basically just being Plum lazy and then freaking out on people when they call you lazy
I literally spent the last 5 minutes trying to find a single bit of information similar to what the op said they found and I can’t find anything at all
Exactly I found out more in 5 minutes on the PTR then I could on a 10 minute YouTube video
Heck if they had just read the original post from blizzard. But I guess they felt making this thread was quicker than the 30 seconds it would have taken to do that
While I dislike this system… the items are returning each year and tokens likely carry over. Its annoying they time gated it and added a grind but its not the end of the world.
1: OP is like a lot of people and instead of actually checking for themself what people say about a topic (in this case the bronze vendor stuff) , they just accept what they (supposedly) read or heard.
2: They felt Sunday wasn’t long enough and felt the need to make a bait thread to extend it.
Or option 3 they didn’t bother to read anything anywhere themselves and kind of just skipped around and wound up getting the game of telephone version of information
