I’ve purchased everything possible minus the Dracthyr mog, which I don’t think is worth it since I hate that race completely. So I guess it wasn’t so bad after all… pretty fast ez grind 2 weeks into the event.

I only have Warrior to get. I don’t like playing a Warrior, and I have tried. I got the Evoker set this morning.

You mean the evoker set? Why not future proof and get it anyway? That class might be the funnest thing in the world to you one day. Or they might open the class up to other races somehow. Or they might add options that make dracthyr look super cool to you.

Their aesthetics, voices, movements, everything cringes me to the core. I don’t like them at all. They have some cool mogs, but you can’t see them in dragon form, which is somewhat tolerable. Their human form though, probably the worst thing added to WoW ever.
Gameplay I’m sure is fun, but can’t get over how dumb they are so won’t play it. I wanted to, but just can’t.

The grind is a whole lot slower if one doesn’t have the TWW expansion and has to rely on the Tanaris quests only. Maybe, I’ll be able to grind it out faster once the repeatable rewards come available beyond 100 tokens.

Yea true, I got my first set week 1 passively, then hit the 100 tokens instantly week 2. One you hit 100 it’s crazy how much you get. I just bought the stupid evoker set cuz I don’t know what else to do other than cash in for Timewarped badges, of which I have over 25k left over after buying every item possible from all TW expacs and this event, including rep lol. So much saved up over the years.
I can let my sub run out if I want, no need to stick around. Got KSH, AOTC, 1800 pvp, finished all TW stuff.

You should have access to BRD no?
You can do BRD LFG after you get token collector and get like 50 a week per alt.

That’s what I’m hoping for next week. I’m stuck at 95 until the Tuesday reset because I skipped some Tanaris weekly quests the first week. I’ll just be farming TW currency for the next few days.
How are people getting so many of the event currency? I’ve done most of the Tanaris quests for 3 here and there, and i’m at like 40. Most I got was 10 for the weekly in Dorn for the random heroic but I cant even get them on alts. It’s like it once per week for the 10 per account not character. How is everyone buying ALL the sets already? Thanks.

Id like to know this too. I just bought my first set and it feels like a slog getting 3 tokens here or there.
After two weeks of bumbling around, I have 100. I did LFR BRD once, I’ve done the weeklies at the event, and just world content since then. No other dungeons.
I should go back this week, something may have opened up when I dinged 100 tokens.
You can do Queen in LFR(or any difficulty) for 15
Also you can do things like theater, awaken the machine etc for 8 each
I only got 34 week one, got to my 100 early on.
Since then I just did BRD LFR on many alts and bought everything
I had 64 level 70’s. so far I think like 12 or 13 are level 80
Alts are life

I see alot of folks have over 500 tokens now, is there a list what to spend them on?
Yeah, the special quests you unlock in zones too. There’s a post about it:
i’m only getting 2 if i get around to it. the rest look terrible
Zone weekly quests:
- Theater Troop
- 10x Wax + Machine Speaker
- Hallowfall Light 4x small fires (don’t even have to do other quests)
- Azj Kahet Rep w/ chosen NPC
- 2x Weekly Special Assignments from 2x zones
Dornogol Weekly Quests:
- Should be like 2 or 3 of them for various content formats
- PvP weekly quests near entrance of city
PvE:
- End boss of Time Walking Raid any difficulty
- Kill Queen any difficulty
PvP:
- Queue for brawl and complete the quest you get when you’re in it.
- Koraks Revenge completion
Investigation in anniversary area gives a ton too.
All of this week 1 got you 61 tokens for the first set. By week 1 they buffed drop rates massively netting you an easy 100 or so tokens at least, without having to grind.

I only played a couple hours since the event started. Hoping next week I can change that - I should have more time.
The big points came this week with the buffs to TWW stuff - kill Queen (even LFR) is like 15, the TWW weeklies are like 8-10 each, it was really easy to hit the 100 this week and unlock the repeatable stuff.
