Not getting any from BRD LFR at all, not getting them from other sources or weeklies so I’m really not sure where people are getting them all from, about to try to do queen.
i am also passing on the ew-voker set
ill buy the other stuff that costs celebration tokens
I suppose I should get off my butt and do something then
The elf locked set will never be gotten. But the others, those look great
Blizz overdid it with the buffs. People said you couldn’t get t1 first week, they were wrong. They said it’ll be impossible to farm all sets this year, but they underestimated the repeatables.
People are literally buying everything out within 5 hours of the achievement unlocking which wasn’t even buffed. With all the crates and secret guest quests, people would have hit 100 week 2 regardless.
Once again the forums were kvetching over a nothing burger. More time to play other games at least.
You need the 100 token achievement.
I think its good tho. Casuals shouldnt have to grind to get it all in a reasonable time. The event should be a love letter to fans. Period.
Well that is bollocks. It’s taken me forever between 2 chars just to get 67 tokens… so I guess I’m halfway there. Hopefully the event will run long enough for me to get stuff done.
I won’t complain. More time to play BG3 for me.
But I don’t feel like it was unfeasible for the average casual. Blizzards initial numbers were far better than what people said and I think blizz knee jerked a little bit. thats my only point.
just do the high number token stuff first. once you hit 100 just mash your head against lfr brd on your char and alts. youll be fine.
I only got Mage and Shaman sets so far. I’ll get them all of I can but I doubt the event will run long enough for that.
I’ve bought 2 pets.
I am unable at this time to play for more than about an hour a day due to personal issues and grinding stuff like that is fairly low on my list of things to do.
If I feel a bit better later on hopefully I can get a bit more.
I’ve only bought the monk and pally set so far. But I also bought all the toys and pets beforehand. So now I’m out of tokens. Even with the repeatable sources, I immediately noped out of trying to farm them. Way too much of a grind. Will wait for the weekly reset to get another bunch and buy the rest of the sets (minus the classes I know I’ll never play) then. There’s no rush.
I’m only going to get the druid set, it took doing a lot of activities for even one armour
I’ve bought all 13 of the tier 2 sets (260). Now I just need to farm about 145 more to buy any of the missing mounts, pets and toys I lack from when I took a 9-year hiatus from the game. I never did a lot of time walking content to earn that currency, so I don’t have much to use. I don’t group much because of some toxic groups when I came back and now my finger amputations make it harder for me to do things.
I had hit 58 out of 61 possible in week one of the event and the second, I hit week two, with the boost in how much you get per completion it makes how much you earn exponentially much easier. I’ve not really done the Player verse Player for the tokens because I don’t want to ruin my team’s chance at a win, so I do a lot of Korrak’s Revenge because the honor helps me buy the crafting patterns, I am not willing to pay 20k + for items I will never make gold on because of OCD.

For years upon years, I was strictly a warrior/death knight player. Preferred melee classes in the early days.
Tried hunter a handful of times, but didn’t care for pet classes.
Dabbled with combat/outlaw rogue. Can play it ok, but not one of my favorites (she’s generally my main herb/ore gathering slave).
Tried an arcane mage, didn’t care for it.
Tried monk in MoP, didn’t care for it.
Added in a discipline priest in WoD for the first time and actually liked it.
Came back around to monk again in Legion, still didn’t like it.
Finally tried a hunter again in BfA and went with the Lone Wolf build for my first vulpera character. Finally started to like the class.
Added a fire mage in BfA, liked it better than arcane, now can play both fire and frost decently.
Tried monk again in SL, still didn’t like it.
Gave monk a third try this past week as I needed a new character to play with a returning friend. Class FINALLY clicked for me and has actually been some of the most fun I’ve had as melee in a long time.
Honestly, you don’t know what might change down the road. I’ve got seven classes at the level cap, four of which I wouldn’t have dreamed of playing before 2014. Considering there’s still a solid two months left for the event, you might as well unlock it. I’ve made my main classes my set priorities for the event, but at the end of it all if I have time and tokens leftover, you can bet I’m going to at least unlock the others in case one of those other classes suddenly becomes a favorite that ends up in my main class rotations 2-5 years down the road.
Hell, pally and lock are two more classes I’ve tried to get into multiple times. At some point, I’d like to try to give those another go.
