I’m guessing they were likely spamming LFR and timewalking dungeons, or whatever else is repeatable. Currently, I have 4. Pally, mage, DK and monk. Would have had 5 if I hadn’t spent 10 on the Baby Blizzard Bear and 10 on a headpiece from another vendor. So yeah, I can certainly see how it might be doable.
Ah, so they went overboard with spamming the repeatable stuff until their eyes and ear bled from the reptition. Got it.

Nope, actually spent alot of time testing my ele and enh specs in game. I think I knocked out zone weeklies. I have 10 tokens (in imgur pic) and should have a 7th when I finish up token rewarding content later. I did not do any repeatable stuff today.
Today, perhaps, but what about previously? hmmm? - 
I received the 100 chiev today, so I do not think it was possible to do anything repeatable prior to today.
I will say that seeing folks running around in their Teir sets definitely makes it feel more like a celebration this week. Last week it just felt like chores, this week actually feels a little festive with people finally getting some rewards. Not sure that Blizz will learn anything from this but the lesson is there to be had if they want it.

Just because you say this doesn’t make it true. The pace was NOT fine.
Week or two, that’s cute. At week one pace it’d would have taken around 2 months to get everything. Don’t be delusional.
There’s nothing at the event that’s unique enough to take up more than a day’s time. You can do everything specific to the event in one day. The way it was set up week one was to be a long drawn out grind that if you missed a week you’d be out of luck.

Is it pretty much a given at this point that the 20th Anniversary weekly quests around the Tanaris pavilion will NOT be likewise buffed?
They’re all showing only 3 tokens each today, but I’m holding off on turning them for now in case we get some kind of update before the weekend.
