Bronze Celebration Token Changes Incoming -- October 29

No it wasn’t.

Nope, I’ll continue playing because wow has a million and one things to do and anyone that complains about being bored isn’t actually playing the game.

I want these sets. I have 5 now and by the end of the week I’ll probably have 7. Next week I’ll be done and I’ll finish leveling my druid and start gearing my paladin. Wow’s in a pretty good place right now.

Last week I had no sets, this week I have 5 sets (so far). Definitely a massive increase.

I havent even gotten a set

Do all the chores this week and that’ll net you a bunch. If you can hit the 100 mark BRD LFR will drop like 3 per boss and 5 for the final boss. At the rate I’m going I’ll have everything by next week. It’s honestly so much better this week.

Pretty lame to buff all of the Quests that require the expansion and not the quests that don’t. A lot of people still not sold on TWW and you already are gimping them the mount this year by locking it behind Chromie Time, which needs the expansion to even zone in.

This event has been a huge reminder of why I keep feeling like I need to put this game down for good.

Yeah. I mean, I get wanting to incentivize players to buy the latest expansion. It’s good for Blizzard’s metrics and their bottom line. However, this is a 20th anniversary event. Everyone should be allowed to make good progress without having to shell out upwards of $50+ just so they can accomplish something during a celebration of the game’s past 20 years. Sometimes a show of good will is the best approach. That makes people actually want to spend their money.

It is not about being bored. It is about being ‘done’ with the content that was meant to be a server/player celebration and then return to your bubble and personal grind. The pacing was fine, it was meant to speed up as progress went, people were impatient and wanted the items NOW. Can’t wait a week or two, it has to be NOW.

Good for you to be nearly done. It brings back my point that people won’t be at the event anymore, the faster they are done, the faster they leave. Carrot on the stick.

They were never really there beyond the first day during this past reset, so…I’m not really sure you are making the point you think you are. And most world bosses were/are being fought via the group finder. Waiting around to kill those is a waste of time. The event will be fine in that the traffic will be the same.

Servers are different, of course. It still highlights my actual point that playerbase doesn’t really know/care about doing anything in the game beyond rushing to the next reward. It is just sad to see.

People saying it’s not a massive increase… surely trolling right? I have 6 sets right now and I can keep doing things to earn more and more tokens… I could finish the sets this week if I wanted… :dracthyr_shrug:

Yep. Its not as if people were expecting to be able toget them all in a week. But to not even be able to get a single one? C’mon, now. Wahts fun about that in an anniversay event meant tobe, you know, fun.

How the hell do you have 6 sets? You have GOT to be lyinig.

Ok, then. Waht else is there bsides the next reward? Most people playing don’t care about the lore beyond a surface level.

YOU can get by anymeans, ALL the bronze token rewards this week, even TODAY, why I know this? because I already have them

HOW? How is that even possible? Explain yourself, with pictures.

The Multiplayer part doesn’t resume itself to just forced scenarios where you need to interact with others for your individual progress. It’s not about lore, go and make your own fun. I have nothing against people who only want the next reward as their fun, but when they demand and get changes which cripples what others could be doing for fun beyond that? It sucks a bit.

In general, I make my own fun in the game beyond just running content. I was looking forward in my availability, to set up a tent toy in the Anniversary area, share Elixir of Tongues with people, tell silly jokes with Horde and Alliance, make friends, participate of the Mount Mania and see the things people got that are rare or they are proud of.

Faster rewards means less people, and less people means even those who had this kind of investment won’t be there, because there won’t be a reason to or even people around to do stuff.

So yeah, I am a tad disappointed.

Everything says 3 tokens still. Not 10

I have 6, all on stormrage, Pandaleche, Shrekful, Hotboisummer, Mcglizzy, Blownoutback, Battlemullet. They are logged out in the sets currently.

How did you aqcuire enough tokens to buy six of the sets.
