It was likely just low engagement numbers. No one cancelled their subs in a few days. That’s naive.
It’s not naive at all, lol. People were and are (the numerous topics on these forums, the topics and the event in-game) disgusted with the event in general and the timegating. They voted with their wallets. Change happened. End.
They dont make changes because q or 2 people didnt renew. That’s completely flawed logic. They look at larger metrics.
There was not suddenly some massive exodus because you saw a post about one dude quitting.

These are just a few, and there are MANY more. The likes alone count near 1,000 people.
This was to be expected and further increases will follow as the event progresses. Before you know it each weekly will be rewarding 20 coins
Basically it’s just like REMIX Everything feels time gated and slow at first towards the end of the event you’ll have more coins than you’re able to spend
In the meantime the good thing is when you hit 100 coins like I said in the comment above it makes these weekly repeatable on alts and coins will still drop the cap is removed when you hit 100 coins

I said a good chunk of them likely have, as people now understand a loss of money sees change.

During SL with ALL of the complaining going on, it still took them many many months to make changes. They don’t do that anymore.
This should have been done in the beginning.
