You can thank everyone on these forums who cheers and then gets incredibly mad when anyone voices their opinion that maybe microtransactions are getting out of hand. You get broken buggy patches and the actual effort goes in to the cash shop. Just like a cheap korean mmo.
A broken patch and then a $90 cash shop mount is actually a very good celebration of modern blizzard
Sliding into mobile game territory, here. How…sad.
What we desperately need is about 35 more topics started crying about the $90 Bronto dinosaur.
Here’s the thing, if you don’t want it, don’t buy it.
I doubt the software engineers or whoever manages bugs has much of anything to do with this store mount. Sure, complaints about the bugs and overall quality of this patch are definitely warranted but bringing back an AH brutosaur mount is something A LOT of players wanted. It’s actually kind of nice of Blizz to make it cheaper than the OG brutosaur too.
Glad that you are admitting to being part of the problem.
What if they add a personal flying house with an AH, Bank, vendor, and mail with customizable look inside for $500?
Is that your best advice, your great revelation?
What problem? There are many expensive things in the world. If you can’t afford them, don’t by them. Now here’s something you can’t do, give me a well thought out rational argument why that should be a problem for anyone.
We could finally get player housing
keep talking like that and you might have a new career at activision Blizz
This is a subscription based game and not a F2P Korean mmo
I will get tons of snarky remarks but no one will give us an argument as to why people can’t accept responsibility for what money they spend on a video game.
Woooo $10 an hour and a tent on the side of the road here I come!
I love when they add absolutely nothing to the game and you just buy everything from the cash shop instead!
I mean, you can get the mount with ingame gold
Sure, but this could have been an absolute PR win for the 20th anniversary. It could have been a meta event reward.
This is the way video games are now. Blame piracy for this as money has to be made. Full games at launch is gone, everything has dlc in order to maximize profits.
Someone still paid for those tokens. This mount isn’t tied to any one activity you don’t earn it you pull out your wallet or get someone else to.
They always ignore that part
Explain how piracy has forced blizzard to stop making good mounts in game and to shove them all in the cash shop?
