I like how in LFG people are like, “LF DPS t3 stars or tentacle only!”.
Those players are free wins.
Same players who looked for dh/dk or mage/lock or rogue/mage only for months and insta declined other classes.
Yeah that’s just a good indicator of what groups not to join even if you play those classes

Likely some truth to that. Anyone who is requiring this (especially at a 1700 /1800 rating) is hoping for a gimmick win and is not really interested in teamwork or getting better at the game IMO.

Hate to smash your dreams but all the corruption dps procs seem to suck until Tier 3. The difference for me was 3-4% of my damage to 9-13% going from T2 to T3. Seemed barely worth the corruption at T2. 
Interesting. The other day I was looking at some of the stat corruptions and was surprised to see at face value they seemed to provide equal amount of stats per point of corruption. If that was true then no tier would really be better than another (per point of corruption they cost). However if proc rates differ then that would make sense on how one is better than the other.
Are there any other resources where this is discussed by people? I don’t think raidbots is taking a different proc rate into account.
The proc rates of +stat like mastery, Vers, Haste etc seem to maintain a 30-40% Buff uptime. They seem fairly consistent no matter how much haste you run.
For whatever reason the “damage proc” corruptions like tenticles and infin Star seem to scale in PPM the higher a character’s paperdoll haste is and the higher tier it is. This is something I have seen when looking at post-game arena breakdowns and searching my opponents on armory to see their gear, as well as testing against targeting dummies with my own corruptions as well.
Classes with dots seem to do better with tenticles / stars as well. Seems like they are able to proc off each individual tick as if it’s a white hit. My assumption is that behavior isn’t intended? But I doubt it will get changed.
Well proc rates scaling with haste is expected behavior for real procs per minute which is what the devs switched to in MoP.
However different proc rates for different corruption tiers is entirely unexpected and as far as I know not known or accounted for in any sims. It would make sense though as it is what would make a higher tier corruption “better” in terms of value per point of corruption cost.
edit: As an aside I got a t3 mastery proc (900-some mastery) on my Ret and attacked the PvP target dummy and it was almost constantly up. Seemed pretty good considering it’s basically the equivalent of 2x avenger might traits (since they’re nerfed 50% in PvP they provide like 400 mastery per trait iirc).
Yeah I really like the +mastery proc I have for gloves. Until I got T3 tenticle last week I was using mastery gloves / Vers belt or swapping to my Vers gloves / belt for the double proc against rogue/mage with Conflict. That +1600 Vers if they stun me with it up, along wit my natural 28% paperdoll Vers is killer 
I got a 160k crit on TV with wings, mastery, Vers, and cloak +stat all proc’d this week. Was nice to see the HP get chunked.
