Nothing against Bards but there are a few classes I would rather see before them. It would be interesting to see how WoW would intergrate a “support” style role into the game. I would assume it would probably require increasing group sizes by 1.
If mean, to be fair, I’d be 100% on board for that Guitar Hero version from April Fools.

Was hoping for a Summoner class. Summons elementals and beasts and buffs them for combat…could even summon killer bunny or squirrel zergs. Kind of like the Demonology Warlock, just no demons.
You can sing me songs irl if you’re good at it. Why be a bard in game if you can be one irl!

They redesigned Demonology in Legion to work like this, everyone disliked that.
Also in Legion, BM Hunters had Dire Beast with the ability to reset cd so you had the ability (IDK if it was any good) to just throw an entire zoo at your enemy.
I honestly think Bard would have been a better class concept than Evoker. They were never going to be able to follow through on the concept of “feeling like a dragon.” These aren’t dragons, they are scuffed Argonians. You would need some sort of full-dragon transformation to get to “feel like a dragon” and that is never gonna happen. A dragon is a giant apex predator, Evokers die when you tickle them.

i dont know if i’d play one, but a bard that could play music like in FF14 would be dope as hell. i want to walk into stormwind and listen to some bard play adells hello.

Actually there’s an addon called “musician” I have seen people advertising when they use the harp toy.
They should delete evoker then so they can get around to making classes people want even faster.

I think they should delete evoker, monk, and probably demon hunter. Everything added after DK was a mistake.
If the design work they put into monks had just fixed up druids instead, a bunch of us former bears wouldn’t have had to switch over the years.

Bard class doesn’t belong in WoW.
Now… Artificer… THAT should have been our third Mail class.
The problem with this is that the game wasn’t designed around support classes… So one of two things will happen. They either be immensely over powered and thus required to bring to everything, or way under powered and won’t get invited to anything. Blizzard has proven it time and time again that they can’t use calculators and they only do those two extremes.

Bard FTW. Bard’s both suck, and are legendary, depending on the bard.
If they are then every class that can perform a combination of heal, tank and dps are support.
