I have one character with a Garrison who is Best Friends (reputation) with Nat Pagle in WoD, and she is also Exalted with The Anglers in MoP. She can buy the “Angler’s Water Striders” item from Nat in her Garrison for 40 gold, and mail it to all my alts.

To use the item, you need to open your mounts tab, and then place the “Angler’s Water Striders” item in the socket. Voila! All your mount can water-walk!

note: You need to buy the item and socket it for each character that you want to be able to water walk while mounted.

Yeah, would be nice. Unless you have a water mount or can fly, travel through water can be a real pain, especially at low levels when you’re trying to get from point A all the way to point Z.

I have the water walking equipment on one mount, but I have no idea where I got it or how to get another one. No way in the world am I swapping it back and forth between 30+ characters :dracthyr_lulmao:

Once you get Exalted with Nat Pagel in Karasang Wilds, you purchase the Azure Water Strider from him and add it to your collection, then buy the water walking equipment thing from Nat, equip it (in the slot in your mount tab), then all of your toons can also get that equipment from Nat.

The only requirements are being level 40, and learn Mists of Pandaria fishing. It costs 45g. Then you just put it in the Mount Equipment slot on your Mounts tab. Then all of your mounts will have the water walking ability.

Yeah. Both times.
Once in MoP for the original, and again in WoD for the better looking crimson version waterstrider. But it is what it is. I disagreed with the decision to have EVERY mount being water walking capable but I also agreed to the ToS to play the game. I have yet to see any real long-term benefical usage of mount equipment overall. In fact, water walking can be a brief hindrance at times when you want to submerge but are mounted, or jump off a cliff into the water and forget to angle you camera view steep enough not to land on the water’s surface and kill yourself and your mount.

What do you think I missed. This is the part I responded to - they aren’t going to bring back the water walking mounts and I don’t think OP even expects them to.

I disagree with what their claim was though. Or am I just supposed to take what they said as being true? I am sure I have made new characters after and did just that.

I would like “Zen Flight” to actually get “flight speed” I wanna fly around on my nimbus :frowning:
