Yuck , no thanks. Not all content needs to be relevant gear-wise. I hated having some world quest piece of derp gear randomly rnging to the moon to be better than a piece of raid gear I’d been hyped to have drop after hoping for it clear after clear.
Edit: Just warforging would be fine, that was a reasonable rng increase.

I loved reforging and titanforging.
But then again I’m a degenerate filthy casual. For people like me it’s good.
For the raid guys though, it sucks because they are always chasing the best stuff and titanforging always leaves that nagging feeling of “it still could have been better”.
How about a halfway?
Titanforging can only go so high as the next level of your raid progression.
If all you do is LFR, then the best it can go is to normal level and so on.
I mean, I’m not sure anymore but isn’t that how the weekly timewalking quest reward works and it doesn’t seem to hurt anything?

Mythic raid gear couldn’t even titanforge.
(A lot of people don’t even know that.)

Bring it back with the ability to upgrade up to whatever the piece can titanforge to through currency and I’m sold.

I can go back to one item that everyone went after in Legion and they hoped it Titanforged from the start of Xpac to the end was the dreaded Arcanocrystal. That was crap to know that one trinket stuck around as a BiS for many and never got off of.
-Low end warforging(+10 ilvls) fine
-High end Titanforging(+30 ilvls) BAD

I would love them to bring Titanforging back.
Just disable it in Mythic raiding and Mythic+ so the content pushers don’t complain.

I wouldn’t mind it if we had a way to OBTAIN it than just RNG. Given the record that Shadowlands has given us. The droprate is too severe to justify, alongside the bonus of getting additional stats likes Leech or avoidance. If they not only increased the droprate chance, and give us the ability to upgrade our current gear to Warforged/Titanforged, then I’m inclined to accept. Sadly, that’s not what I am seeing currently throughout Shadowlands.
I can’t believe that it only took two weeks for someone to campaign on the council to bring back titanforging of all things.
