In no way did it make exciting content any bit less rewarding. If you raid, bis can and will drop for you. did TF somehow stop that from happening?
It’s actually refreshing to see someone just say it without trying to make BS reasons for why they think TF should come back.
Good gear is subjective. Your bis is the best gear you can get from the content you run. I don’t know where this idea came from that if a higher ilvl exists people just deserve it. This isn’t destiny 2 where your light level will gradually creep up continuously.
You are competing against raiders in the open world. You are doing mobs at a decent pace, they show up and pull half the map and kill it in seconds. you have to wait for respawns at your world quest while they rofl stomp it in seconds. if they capped the raiders ilvl in the open world, you would have a fair field. they wont do it.
how has a thread about titanforging gotten over 400+ posts lmao
OP is just baiting yall, posting on alts and bumping his own post for attention, nobody with any sense would want it back in the game
No it happened weekly in raids and M+ .
How to hell is something that you will never use an upgrade . Grow up little child . Want the best loot , do the content it drops in .
From your replies it is also painfully obvious you have no understanding what a team is and what it means to be part of a team. Let me fill you in . In a team teh individuals wants and needs mean nothing ( hense the saying " No I in team " ) If a piece of loot gives a total DPS increase of 200 for player A and 400 for player B it should go to player B 100% of teh time because that benifits the team more. Just the same as you take a hockey ball to teh head to save a goal instead of ducking , or letting a baseball pitch hit you so you can get to first base.
hourly reminder that Lottery Loot Titanforging is a good thing #TITANFORGINGDIDNOTHINGWRONG
People want TITANFORGING back it made all content relevant it’s one of the last things Blizz needs to walk back after the disaster of listening to game design advice from the wrong portion of the playerbase.
Bring back TITANFORGING
How’s a guy who hasn’t played at all this expansion going to say how something should be re-added?
What are you talking about I’ve played the whole expansion haha? I’m logged in right now playing.
He wants his mythic raid level item from doing his round of world quests obviously
If you envy the strong then aspire to be like them. Do what they do. Try running what they run. Power itself is a reward of running the hardest content.
In any case I can blow stuff up in my slightly better than normal raid gear so I don’t think your example is exactly a real problem.
make all content relevant again.
You wanna know how to do that?
Step 1: Remove rng from loot outside of whether or not it drops
Step 2: Remove catch up mechanisms from the game. No more boa tokens or vendor gear thats better than the previous raid once a new patch comes out.
There you go. Old content is now relevant again. Loot is simple and has no extra rng bs attached to it. Old raids are relevant for people who take breaks or want to play alts. No titanforging/warforging/corruption/socket/tertiary bs needed.
I certainly wouldn’t mind it if they went back and tied it to WQ’s like they did in Legion. It gives the casual (non raider/mythic) players a reason to do every world quest each day that is tied to gear rewards and weapon rewards, allowing them a chance to upgrade the gear they have. I would be so excited every time I would have something upgrade it kept me playing. It’s a good way to stretch out content for people who don’t raid, giving them an opportunity to feel like they’re making SOME kind of progress.
Right now weapons are a huge problem. We are now over a year into Shadowlands and if you look at the AH, the highest ilvl staff is 163. That is utterly ridiculous at this point that it borders on the pale for these devs. to neglect anything higher ilvl. I had to buy a dagger for a small fortune off the AH just to have something decent. WF and TF on world quest gear/weapons would be a huge deal for players that don’t get into the raiding scene.
It would make more sense for people that omit a major portion of the game for their own reasons to accept that their game stops at the content they run.
Every piece of gear in the game is attainable by every player in the game if they want it.
If you can be happy about winning a lottery in real life, you can be happy about winning lottery loot titanforged gear in a game instead of feeling anything else
#TITANFORGEDLOOTDIDNOTHINGWRONG
Yet even though titanforged made any gear acquisition an endless grind, particularly for casual, they removed it. Why remove something that keeps your players playing if there was nothing wrong with it?
The real truth is the elite players do the absolute bare minimum so they can just raid and sell boosts.
This whole argument that elite players give about how they actually play the game is the most ridiculous nonsense I’ve ever heard.
Are there some elite players that play all parts of the game? Sure but the real truth is elite players want the most boring linear game because it’s suits their agenda.
Your one of the players I want blizzard to ignore.
I’ve read your posts on many topics and I’ve never agreed with any of your opinions.
These forums are for discussion; they are not your own personal echo chamber. People are allowed to have opinions and express them.
Having said that, if you don’t like what an individual has to say, there’s an ignore function. I utilize it myself for people that I don’t feel add anything useful to conversations (mainly known trolls).
It’s not a coincidence boosting is off the charts now, with TITANFORGING gone.
Boosting existed far before titanforging did. Heck, it doesn’t even exist in Classic yet there’s boosting going on there too. I’m not sure this is quite the persuasive argument that you think this is.
Awww the lfr raider wants his mythic ilvl loot
Hell no. Titanforging was cancer.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk
