It feels good to get a piece of loot. period. Titan forging was just a bonus. The argument that you felt that you “had to” do dalies proves that it made them relevant. Nobody made you do them, you chose too.

They really should add justice vendors back into the game and let you upgrade a lot more stuff with valor.

So good. Knowing that the only chance you have at getting an upgrade in a raid tier you haven’t set foot in was to not only get a piece of loot to drop but also have it forge. Love being forced to play the lottery for months. I mean it was either that or quit I guess.

and that’s why Final Fantasy XIV is the best MMO so far, because apart from a variety in freedom in transmog and customization and some more emotional raids and dungeons.
The key is NOTHING IS WASTE everything is acceptable, that is why the TW and existing raids only in this expansion have to be available and necessary for gear and your experience within that new expansion.
It can’t be a waste just like that and just for this season.
Blizzard already has 3 MMO sins in its game, it is about to approach envy and believe me that there have already been this decisions that were not good.
It is because of it that Titanforging except for the concept of low ilvl raids or first raids in that expansion of what a little from WotLK to Cataclysm was losing a bit in doing all the known raids only in that expansion.
What works for FF will not work for WoW. It just won’t, not without fundamentally changing the game that WoW is and has been for almost 20 years. Presenting TF as some miracle cure to raids becoming obsolete is ridiculous. The only reason it is being discussed is the TF apologists think their argument was too weak without it.

I’m don’t know dude, I’d rather have a 236 ilvl of the Kael’thas tank Trinket than another SoD tank trinket in the game, which is why I still appreciate titanforging regardless of the randomness.
He wants randomity, it was worse in Legion to get a Legendarie Armor by killing a seagull as opposed to putting together a Shadowmourme or the Fangs of the Father in legendarie weapons.
a lack of respect for items that had significant value from an Azeroth hero as well as the laziness of Sephuz’s item creation.
Great so you can sit in the group finder for 10 hours trying to convince a raid group worth of people to run old content for the off chance you win the lottery. That or beg your guild to give up a raid night for the same reason.
I didn’t say LFR, I said get a Titanforging Kaelthas tank trinket 233 or 236 iLvl which is instead a 213.
It is a reason WHY it was previously useful to do a previous raid getting a different Set or trinket that was more useful than the new one.
group finder isn’t lfr, its the same utility we use to find M+ groups and other random content.
And don’t even tell me about the LFR, if the LFG barely makes a Mythic CN, imagine the desert you find when you join an LFR group in hours.

hey I am referring to the LFG and LFR group now and in BfA after 8.1, before by 7.3 it still gave you a reason to do an EN on any difficulty.

This right here TITANFORGING gave the game tremendous replay ability. And I think after 16 years or so of every popular mmorpg never being able to keep content coming out at a good pace, we need to have some replay ability in them.

Face reality, the devs will not give anything remotely good to any non raider/mythic runner. They have made it pretty clear about that. Tf is the only way any casuals will get anything approaching good.

Which is at its root a serious problem Blizzard needs to address.
But also not entirely accurate.
It made dull content relevant.
It made exciting content less rewarding.

I am convinced Blizz will probably never have the resources or the ability to make the game they could.
Just bring back MAX TITANFORGING and have it apply to all content old and new. Like this timewalking just make all content relevant again.

It’s actually refreshing to see someone just say it without trying to make BS reasons for why they think TF should come back.
Good gear is subjective. Your bis is the best gear you can get from the content you run. I don’t know where this idea came from that if a higher ilvl exists people just deserve it. This isn’t destiny 2 where your light level will gradually creep up continuously.
They are going to have to make some changes and WoW is closer to a looter shooter than any other type of game these days.
Likely the same place that the idea one has to outgear content to enjoy it came from. If not their, then dang loot envy caused by a certain kind of person rubbing their high level gear in others faces.
It would not surprise me if some wanted WF/TF to come back in order to put their tormentors “in their place” but at the same time, if heroic raid/M+15 is the most anyone does, would it not benefit them to be rewarded if they decide to keep playing at that level instead of quitting till the next patch?
