from my point of view it comes down to players whining about content they aren’t eligible for, but want it anyway.

Non eligible because they did not play at a certain time not because they were not skilled enough.

If you brought it back everyone good enough would be able to get it everyone who wasnt would not.

I missed out on some of the CM sets. that’s too bad, I’ll never get them. I do not sit around crying about it and demanding they be brought back.

I’m not sitting around crying about it but it would hurt nothing and hurt nobody if some of these things were brought back. I’m sorry the only things that would be hurt are some egos. I have most everything I wanted from those events minus maybe the mage CM set and the ret MT weapon. I’m wearing my MT weapon right now and it wouldn’t bother me in the slightest if it was brought back.

Fragile egos would be the ones losing their minds.

And perhaps one of my biggest regrets playing this game was not taking the game seriously enough at the time of mop and wod to get the challenge mode sets.

With the fated system you could reintroduce previous aotc mounts or the challenge mode sets and i think it would be a great idea.

You can see what happened to MT. Its complete clownfiesta and challenge isnt nearly the same as it was before. They cant balance content from 10 years, so NO. DONT BRING THOSE PRESTIGIOUS REWARDS BACK.

And for everyone who will say “it needs to be exclusive” it will still be exlusive only the players who can complete the challenging content will be able to get it. It just won’t be exclusive to people who played during a certain time in the games history and not others.

The mists questline being removed was just mindblowing to me that questline was absolutely crucial to the entire mists of pandaria storyline and without it replaying through mop story is just so disjointed and confusing.

It would hurt the ability for time-limited rewards to be used as incentive to complete challenging content.

You have to think about the fact that that sort of thing motivates people who might not be otherwise, myself included, if they knew that anything and everything could be cheesed at a later date.

Its also as i stated before incredibly demotivating to be told cool rewards are just straight up unobtainable.

You would still have the same level of motivation to get good enough to get the reward if it was left in the game.

Like the mage tower there are still people working on the mage tower to this day without you having to put it on a time limit and its widely regarded as a success.
