Bring back the challenge mode sets through fated dungeons

There is a LOT of content in this game that has been simply removed entirely for no reason really.

The brawlers guild is one the mists cloak questline is another the wod ring quest is another.

And perhaps one of my biggest regrets playing this game was not taking the game seriously enough at the time of mop and wod to get the challenge mode sets. With the fated system you could reintroduce previous aotc mounts or the challenge mode sets and i think it would be a great idea.

And for everyone who will say “it needs to be exclusive” it will still be exlusive only the players who can complete the challenging content will be able to get it. It just won’t be exclusive to people who played during a certain time in the games history and not others.

You would not just be giving it away like on the trading post you would just be allowing players the opportunity to complete the challenge and obtain the reward with it being scaled up.

The mists questline being removed was just mindblowing to me that questline was absolutely crucial to the entire mists of pandaria storyline and without it replaying through mop story is just so disjointed and confusing.

Will come back at some point, albeit probably with different rewards than its last incarnation.

Should absolutely come back, story should never be removed.

Could go either way on the cloak itself, though I think the questline would feel awkward without it.

Absolutely not. Time-limited achievement things should stay that way.

Make new rewards, don’t trot out old ones. This argument is the dust of a dead horse.

I don’t think that you should be denied something because you did not play during a 7-8 month time frame.

I think it should stay in the game and again if you can beat the challenge it presents then you deserve what it gives.

You’re not “denied” something just because someone has something you don’t.

There are time-limited rewards for the current season, right now. Go get those.

i think fated dungeons should give updated versions of the cmode sets.

while some of them are nice, id like to see versions that meet 2024 standards.

and you can let the people who have them from back in the day keep their old sets for their video game “prestige”

I think they should just add a vendor called Ray’muved Eytems who sells stuff for a currency you can grind years later

Maybe if i still had the ability to get it and was to bad to get it.

But i am denied because i do not even have the chance anymore.

Make new challenge modes; make new rewards to go with them.
Leave the past in the past.

Bring back the original CM sets? No.

Put the CM recolors that were datamined years ago into the game? Absolutely.

Could you imagine a player who started in like idk bfa asking “oh that looks cool how do i get it” and being told oh you cant anymore sorry.

Feels awful i get it all the time riding around on my blizzcon mounts people whisper and ask how to get it.

I think if they could re-introduce content with same or similar difficulty level, you should be eligible for the rewards.

I don’t think anything should ever be permanently removed from the game. Let’s be honest, MoP and WoD challenge mode dungeons weren’t difficult – the modern playerbase would wipe the floor with it. It’s definitely an unfortunate event that some really cool weapon appearances are locked behind removed content.

Legacy duelist enchants should be purchaseable if you have a character in 2200+ as well imo. Some things are too cool to be behind content that is walled behind the sweatiest group of losers in WoW.

I don’t think perfectly valid and fun content should be permenantly removed so a fraction of the playerbase can ego trip over everybody else about rewards from content that was a joke compared to what we have now.

I agree with a few in this thread. Recolors of the old Challenge mode sets with updated assets would be amazing. I never got the originals, but depending on how they’re added I could see trying for some new ones. Maybe make it something for The War Within.

One Recolor for raid

One recolor for M+

One recolor for PVP

and another for Delves.

Make them obtainable transmogs. Not progression Gear sets. Different bosses/dungeons/chests can drop different appearances.

There sure are a whole lot of people who didn’t manage them in the two years they were available, and most of the ones who did just purchased assistance.

I mean that’s a matter of perspective. from my point of view it comes down to players whining about content they aren’t eligible for, but want it anyway.

I missed out on some of the CM sets. that’s too bad, I’ll never get them. I do not sit around crying about it and demanding they be brought back.
