I was referring to the person’s spam about feral, even in unrelated threads, including this one. I’m fine with actually discussing the topic of whether or not raid finder should be added, and how to make it better (if you look back, you might notice I brought up sone points about that).
Anyways, I just want it so when I get alts to 85, I can run raids on them and see how other classes feel. I don’t have the time to join numerous dedicated groups. Along with that, actual casual players, such as my father, would be able to at least see the content for once.
The main drawbacks to raid finder I’ve heard are either already here with RDF or could be fixed relatively easily if the devs actually did something (not saying they would/will, seeing how poorly they’ve handled cata so far).
hey who would have thought that someone is being vocal on discussion boards!!!
Isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black! This post is about LFR, not the Feral Druid buff or the acquisition of the legendary staff. How about staying on topic and not trying to derail the subject again?
What he means here is i want to be carried in raids and not put in any effort to play the game.
Let’s just hope the devs don’t release this trash in classic they already said that they would PERFER NOT TO in an interview.
I don’t think that’s the case but then again, you’ve proven a few times that the English language is too difficult for you.
At the end of the day, with each release of a new raid tier, it gets harder and harder for fresh 85s to find groups for the raids they’re prepared for. With LFR, it would be easier to find likeminded (and like-geared) players.
The discussion was centered around guilds funneling gear to their members.
Untradeable loot is a solution to this problem. Personal Loot is a different “solution” for a different problem.
Personal Loot is also a system that relies on itself to determine who does and doesn’t get loot. The problem here, though, is that Blizzard has to competently design/implement this system and have it work flawlessly, when we’ve beared witness to them striking out several times in the past trying to implement systems into Classic that were already designed and created for them.
Realistically, with Personal Loot, that guild can still “win” all the items, and then trade them to the guild members who are in need of them, while the pugged members leave with nothing.
PL was already implemented for LFR back in the day, they literally just have to let it work the same as it did.

They’re both solutions to the same problem, bad faith rolls, PL is the solution that would actually be authentic.

That’s not how PL works, someone winning something has no impact on someone else’s chance to get loot.
Yes, LFR was implemented in the Pre-Patch for MoP. However, what does make me giggle here is that you think it’s just them having to let it work the same way it before when they can’t even get instance portals to work properly on Hardcore, leading to many deaths, and instance portals have been around just a little bit longer than LFR.
No, not with the way Personal Loot ACTUALLY works. If you have 20/25 members be from the same guild, it is more likely for them to be chosen by the system to receive loot than the 5/25 members who were pugged. That’s basic knowledge.
Personal Loot is a system that relies on itself to determine who does and doesn’t get loot. Yes, it is completely possible for the “winners” of all loot drops to be from the same guild.
I didn’t say that someone winning something has any impact on another’s chance to get loot, except for the fact that it is predetermined, and if you have the majority of players from the same guild, the chances of them receiving the loot over pugged members is obviously higher.
I was referring to the fact that you did it first, in this thread.
You can literally look at my logs, yes, I suck, but I try my best using a computer that stutters every few seconds. You can see that most fights, I am at least on par with the other top DPS in the raid.
My DPS plateaued for a bit due to having a blue for a mainhand until a couple weeks ago (2-3). Still stuck with corla’s baton as a wand cause I haven’t gotten lucky with trash drops and I got sick of troll dungeons.
I also do my best on my other toon, my holy pally.
All of this is to say, I do not believe I am necessarily being carried. Am I the best? No. Can I get better? Definitely. Does any of this have to do with raid finder? No.
You have got to realize that not everyone can dedicate a lot of time into one singular game. I want to try other classes, but I do not have the time to dedicate to another regular scheduled raid group.
