What does this mean? Warmode and non-Warmode players are in different phases. They might as well be on different servers.
Because we donāt need a special server type for every niche interest. Warmode already provides what youāre asking for without the need for separating out data.

fwiw, i think you and the guy from emerald dream are the only people in this thread who have actual experience playing on a pvp server. and anyone who hasnt will never understand how it fosters an actual community, where people can earn reputations (or infamy) and be known for their actions. as is, with all this phasing nonsense and everyone just kinda jumbled together, everyone is a stranger. you never see the same player twice. they might as well be npcs.

That has nothing to do with pvp or pve servers and everything to do with how servers were integrated.
It meant that we have access to the entire regional playerbase but server communities went by the wayside. Whether you think it was worth it or not, thatās not going to be undone.
I played on a PVP server from Classic all the way up through the end of Legion, by the way.

Hang onā¦ OP, for someone who loves pvp, you havenāt seem to have done very much of it.
Iām much closer to the honorable kills title than you are. And Iāll openly admit Iāve barely done much pvp.

It provides a game mode people want to play.
It means unless your whole guild and everyone you play with on that server is war mode, it means exactly that, except they arenāt.
Except it does not, and itās a significant enough population that it could easily merit it.
Why do we bother with high end keys and mythic raids if the vast bulk of the population doesnāt touch them?

search my name on a less than official armory. and note that i hardly ever do bgs or wg. almost all my hks are wpvp. the best pvp.
They would barely have enough people to fill one server so they were to do that it would only be one server
The population of the game that would enjoy that is very niche

I dont get the accusing people who want PvP servers of just wanting to gank people.
It would be your CHOICE to be on the server. And learning from your mistakes and previous battles is a motivation to āgit gudā, to learn and be better.
Funny how everyone screams for more options, āplay how you want!ā until someone asks for on optional separate server choiceā¦

Nah. Heās phased.
I want to be ganked by any and everyone with no way to escape and players who want the same rules. Just like the game was forever until it was ignorantly changed. Let people move off pvp servers for free one-way if they donāt want it. PvE servers already allowed the opt out style.

Itās not, you are just choosing to not engage in world pvp.
Can you explain how? Because it quite literally is the same experience, except you donāt pay to leave.

Warmode is a game mode that provides the same thing.
Your whole guild and everyone you play with can turn on Warmode.
You have failed to demonstrate that.
I sincerely doubt it.
Neither of those things require special servers so I donāt see the relevancy.
