I mean, I understand how you feel. My DK has every elite set since elite sets came out minus the first couple seasons of legion.
But still, I’d be willing to let people have different colors of those sets as a modern reward if it meant there would be more activity on the ladders.
Hot take: I actually really like wow and I don’t want to see it die like this.

Honestly want this for Season 1 WoD i love those sets. 
reclouring is the most they should do with sets, but outright bringing back the original is just a slap in the face to anyone that earned it when it was current under the assumption it’d be removed.
glad mounts should never get a recolour however. tabards likely not either.
i went from a career rival player to a career duelist player in legion simply because i thought a tabard looked cool and really wanted it. i put in so much effort into getting better. i would NEVER have put that effort knowing it’d return or still be available.

Like this season I would’ve liked the option to be able to earn something different since this season’s paladin set is hot trash
This would just make PvP an evergreen system, cause new players could jump in and earn a previous set if they wanted. A rating requirement is in for vanilla stuff for rated bgs this would just be bringing that kind of to 3v3’s and 2v2’s.
Also i never mentioned the mounts cause those people are super touchy about lol.

I’ve earned quite a few from prior expansions and it’s a big shrug from me. Personally would love to go back and get some of the elite sets I quit the season for (BFA S1, Legion S2) and get them.
Having more participation on the ladder would be good for the inflation that we are always missing until blizzard artificially pumps it.
Just add in a new saddle type for games won over 16-1800 and let people grind it to their hearts content.
T3 was handled so poorly lol, its easier to just buy it off t he BMAH still compared to doing what Blizz set out for you which is sad.

More participation, do you know how many sets i have unfinished cause i did not get the Capes in BFA or just missed the rating in 2v2/3v3s for a class.
I really think it’d be fine if people were limited to, like, one set per class per season.
the first time since legion, i am actively pugging 3s on both my priests in hopes of acquiring gladiator after missing out on a whole unique model last season because of being sick and not good enough to get it sooner.
if the slithering drake was the model for consecutive seasons, i would not be doing this. if the mount was perma obtainable, i would not be doing this.
i quit raiding after killing mythic sylvanas and NOT getting the mount knowing i’d just get said mount + the one from sepulcher in the future anyways.
the capes should never have counted toward the mogs. they just need to fix that.
also they can increase participation by giving pvp permanent rewards to strive for instead of just limited ones. vicious mounts are good for the low rating, but need something permanent for higher.

which imo a fine restriction, if they want to add more for higher players go for it. i think most players would be happy with just 1.
This adds content and incentive with minim work while making an evergreen system, if they added this for 2v2 and 3v3 ladders participation would shoot through the roof for certain season sets. the thing is by adding a new thing they have to deal with every season this just makes more work for the devs while most likely not getting more participation aka the new banners for solo Q

Hard no. Ask for blizzard to make better rewards, not devalue what people have earned previously.
I personally want the S11 paladin set, but if I was given an out to earn this now, that would be such an insult to the poor hpalis that earned it back then (or the scum triple dps rets).
If you want to turn old tabards, glad mounts etc into participation trophys, why wait? Lets just remove rating, give away everything for free and see what that does for the health of the game. Spoiler alert, it will harm it.

im not saying to devalue them, blizzard can set the rating requirement at what they want.
Again i never mentioned the glad mounts as people are super touchy on those. How many people do you think have stuck around that long news flash it’s not alot.
