They have a lot of goodwill to earn back for sure but they are doing a decent job of it for me. They don’t earn it all back with a few good decisions of course but it would be unfair of me to critisize them then not acknowledge when they do do well.
They’d have to make those new Dragon people Warriors for me.
I’m not super hyped about what I’ve seen about dragonflight TBH. Get flying back at the start of an expac, but as a system that may or may not suck to actually use especially since we apparently have to progress our flying abilities. New new talent tree could be good but probably won’t change much. Will probably still be expected to change your talent setup regularly in raid which is what I don’t like about the current system. New class ok, in reality just means more tuning for them to screw up. New race that I don’t like the look of that can only play the new class seems like a silly idea. Cutting back on character progression systems and maybe getting some sort of ML back at some point are the only announcements so far that I am actually excited about.
If you quit a video game because a virtual item dropped for you and you couldnt give it away then you have bigger problems then PL as a function in game.
What’s wrong with having personal loot and just trading it to the other guild members who need it. How is this such a big deal lol.
If we were allowed to trade our loot whenever we wanted to it wouldn’t be a big deal.
There would be a few other side effects like rings and capes and necks being too common as drops and certain drops that are too rare like rogue daggers from sylv etc but overall that would be fine. Sadly we can’t do what we want with out own gear because Blizzard k ows best.
Here’s exactly what’s wrong with personal loot vs master loot:
Master loot’s biggest problem is there is drop percentage potential to give entire raids things they don’t need because they don’t have the classes to utilize them.
Boohoo
Personal loot has the same problem inversed. It creates an imbalance of loot potential for underrepresented classes.
As the only shield user in a raid. There’s very low chances to actually get my own shield drop. And classes who could potentially select offspec to get a shield, of which there are very few, would have to win and equip one first before being able to trade it anyways.
We had fully cleared Sanctum multiple times before I got a shield to drop that was an upgrade from world content.
See also warglaives, daggers, agility axes.
And even with my shield the KT staff was still better. I expect similar outcomes for Sepulcher.
Long story short, personal loot drop percentages are worse for classes with less common armor or weapon types.
Agreed, but they have said some very good things about their dragonflight plans. Of course the proof is in the pudding, but they seem to be working with a solid recipe
Master Loot hype train!
There is only hype now
so you want loot council to come back?..the gm and their boyz then the officers and finally you get loot?
Have you tried joining a real guild and not something you found in trade chat?
did you ever raid in the classic versions of the game if you did you know.
Yes?
Like I said join a real guild.
It’s not my fault you make bad decisions.
every one acts like its one or the other. they could do all sorts of alternative loot systems. They dont seem to want too.
then you know most guild used loot council.
Most still do and there isn’t an issue.
Why would this change and suddenly be an issue?
You people still don’t get it personal loot has safeguards in place while Master loot didn’t have none and it was a flawed loot system and it was a abusive loot system. If you think master loot is somehow a good system you people had no idea how people felt about it and that’s why during legion they took to the forums and social media to inform blizzard to get rid of master loot and make personal loot as the main system with built in strong safeguards.
I love it when you people pretend master loot wasn’t the issue / problem when it was actually the main issue and problem and yet those who support that system just want those detest it to stay quite and want master loot to forever exist but of course we were loud enough to make / force blizzard to take a stand on the side of personal loot because deep down blizzard knew master loot was the main source of all of the problems.
I dare you people to find some good and positive things about master loot.
Would have zero problems with blizzard bringing back master loot tomorrow and half of their player base unsubbing to get back the half of the player base that has unsubbed over the last 10 years back because of the current half of the player base that want personal loot…
Yall do realize that ML causes hair loss in men? Gonna be a bunch of bald raiders I tell you now
