I also have almost every mage tower appearance in the game and wouldn’t care if they brought them back. You’re right exclusives do matter in lots of things but an MMO environment isn’t one of them. People who are new to the game for example shouldn’t be excluded from obtaining items just because they might have been a child or something when they released and only just now were able to play the game and find out they can never earn something, really bad game design for an MMO.

You underestimate the ability of people to buy a carry.
The counter to this is: What’s the point of doing any content when it’s challenging when you can just wait a year and get every reward for 0 effort?

I both see the value of it being restricted - it is a highly valued thing.
And I see that it sucks for players like me, who didn’t even main a paladin in Legion, to never get the Flail weapon mog. Bummer!
The converse is also true - when I waltz through an old raid and get all of these “achievements” it belittles those who got it when the content was current.
Easy, if you’re only playing the game for rewards it’s probably not the game for you. In my opinion it’s about all the experiences during the time those things released not the actual item itself.
Ironic that you would call us all entitled as you cry about wanting things to be exclusive. I dunno about you but I’d say that’s a pretty entitled opinion on the subject.

By that logic all mythic raid gear, mounts, pets, and any other content should be removed from raids.

I also do not think they should ever remove content, ever.
If they do remove it, however, I am not sure they should add it back though. 
IMO, the best way to make things exclusive and also NOT remove things is to make a character have to choose x over y and never go back on that choice.
That way, players can have both x and y on different characters if they so choose, but, actually have their choices mean something and actually have an RPG aspect to this slot-machine-collect-a-thon-theme-park game with illusory RPG elements.

Why? The game gives exclusive rewards for current content. It seems like if you DON’T like that then this game isn’t for you.

You’re assuming because I think it’s a bad game design that I’m somehow not going to go and get these things when they are current. Just because I disagree with it doesn’t mean I’ll stop playing because for me there is a solution which is simply earn it when it’s new.
If they updated their flawed exclusive design that shouldn’t be in an MMO then for you the options are more limited unless it’s actually not that big of a deal like I suspect.
You sound really upset, I’m sorry if this subject hurt your feelings. For someone who keeps talking about parents and children in his posts I’d think you would be all about teaching how “sharing is caring” or something.
