There is no reason whatsoever to have ended the “test”. It only makes gameplay horrible for Horde. I was able to run bgs with friends and it opened up a part of the game that is once again closed to us. Nobody wants to wait half an hour to an hour for a que to pop. can’t play with friends with the HvH ques disabled, literally eliminated PvP gameplay for people on horde who want to bg with friends.
Also the removal of full premades was amazing and needs to be permanent, 5 friends queing is fine, u cant dominate a bg but you can play together, its perfect. Why end this?
Instead of HvH, Blizzard should create a Horde character cap per server.
So if new players want to play, or existing players want to make a new character, their only option is Alliance.
OP rolls over populated faction that wins most BG. OP complains about waiting in a queue because everyone else rolled the over populated, over powered pvp faction.
It does log raids but lets think of it in this way. What’s the most populated activity players will do in TBC? With Honor gear being a massive grind and Arena gear having rating requirements even the PvP players will have to raid to stay competitive. If anything I would say this site may not account for probably 5,000 players and I believe that’s generous
I dont think HvH is the true answer to it all. I really just believe Alliance don’t queue at all and HvH should just be used as a bandaid while they figure out what incentive works well enough for alliance players to queue PvP. Once they do that then take away HvH
You may be right. I just kind of think that a lot less people raid than people realize. Of course that would not necessarily mess up the ratios, but you could easily have a lot more horde than we think simply because so many people rolled blood elves the first time around, and not all of those are even 70 yet.
It’s all conjecture either way.
I think HvH is a huge mistake. Free horde to ally transfers or Merc mode would be much better options and less likely to kill off alliance pvp even more.
Either way it doesn’t matter what any of us think. HvH is coming and will be permanent soon. It will also further decrease alliance participation in BG.
I belive you’re right. there is no way to really know the numbers until Blizzard themselves release them. But as for BG’s I don’t think it’s fair to count in all that are not level capped but that’s my opinion because who knows how many Alliance are leveling Horde as we speak.
I think Merc mode would be better as well but I also think they shouldn’t give up on incentives for Alliance. Like make a win guarantee a badge and like 5g lol. I would be doing bgs all day if that was the case
