This is a huge and unnecessary nerf to caster classes. Yet rogues Felstriker fan of knife shenanigans remains unnerfed??? Wth blizz?

I can only think that it’s because they’re a boon to the bot farmers and you can get them out of an instance.
But it’s also dumb to be spending 400-800 gold a week on them.
I’ma gonna save a ton of gold.

Casters can’t use a herb from tbc but rogues can use a dagger and leather set from vanilla? Lol?

I dont think rogues will continue doing this into Ulduar. AFAIK ive been told “we wont use it any longer after this week”

I don’t understand why they would do this. At all. What a waste of time, to nerf a TINY dps increase for some classes.
No clue where you heard that. It’s always going to be good to swap weapons if you’re using FoK.
BTW, Fan of Knives is actually bugged with the Focused Attacks talent, not restoring energy from offhand crits. So rogues should actually be even better at AoE.

There were alot of people having 700000 gold in flame caps as it was extremely easy to get this info way ahead in tbc. People who did not cash out after the ironshield potion nerf are just greedy people that have no idea when to actually cash out.

Maybe Ulduar doesnt have the same trash as Naxx does. Naxx has a ton of trash… so maybe its more valuable than in ulduar? Idk. Just spitballing.
It doesn’t, the trash is tougher and much more specific. You can’t just AOE is down like you can in Naxx.

Other side of the coin. When the game is so extremely simple that 100% of people fully prog, you run out of having fun and want to find ways to separate yourself from everyone else.
Sure its not “needed”, but if you like trying your hardest and being as min maxed as possible, as MANY people do, well then its very much required. Its 80sp that you get simply for gold? Thats the easiest hell yes of all time wut.
It is definitely better in Naxx, so much trash. But even if you don’t have an AoE spec, the weapon swaps should still be good any time you’re using FoK.
I’m also not in a speed running guild so I dunno, I could be missing something on that front.
Of course they weren’t needed. I still don’t get why Blizz would care to nerf them. It’s a tiny dps increase.
