99.5% of players left Era for dead and went to TBC because “vanilla wow sucks”.
100% of people lobbying for clones all have been victimized by RL and Blizzard in some way -
That is until some sleuthing revealed that some of them were lying and were around all along and didnt spend the $5 before the deadline because wRaTh Is ThE bEsT eXpAnSiOn ErA dEaD lOlZzZ.
Then every clone advocate was an alt with 10 posts playing the victim card again so yeah, forgive my skepticism.

Oh I played a lot of WoW during COVID. I never came close to spending the vast majority of my waking hours playing WoW. And if I had, I would have bothered to spend an additional 10 minutes figuring out what would happen in TBC launch and mitigating the consequences.
Again: please post on this lvl 60 rogue.
I mean not everyone dealt with Covid like Canada did.
States for example were out a lot faster then us.
We were on straight lockdown not able to leave but essentials for over a year. Actually had cops stopping you wondering where you were going.

Even to the extent that is true, it should be trivially easy for you to post from the lvl 60 rogue that is on a WOTLK server. (Ideally with a screen shot showing 0/100% xp toward lvl 61)

You could’ve migrated to classic era (for free) if you wanted to. You chose TBC and WOTLK. You accepted the consequences of that decision. What are you missing here?

After TBC pre-patch, you had to choose to login to TBC Classic, or free xfer to classic era.
You chose TBC.
Yes, this choice was free, but it was a choice that you freely made.
The consequence of that choice was that if you wanted to preserve your character on era you would have a limited time to pay a clone fee. You also chose not to pay the clone fee.
You had two chances to preserve your character on era. You rejected both opportunities.
I’m not judging you for these choices. It was 100% your choice and you made what you thought was the best decision.
I am however judging you for whining about the obviously foreseeable consequences of your choices.

It doesn’t matter if you played TBC aggressively and dedicatedly or only for 10 minutes. The point here is that you chose TBC and you chose not to pay the clone fee. This was your choice, and no longer having a classic era character was the consequence that you knowingly accepted.
