Just want to point out 2 things:
A) Blizzard has admitted the data still exists
B) The clones accidently re-appeared briefly in december 2022, 6 months after they were “deleted” - which is further proof the data still exists.
Bring back clones.

YES!!! I “only” sent my main and one more to Wrath - no clonng at all - he was not even level 60 But how I regret not having cloned him to Era as well, the rest of my alts are missing him and his unique patterns/recipes.
The synergy part describes exactly how I feel, there’s still a hole in my characters.

I will also add my voice to this cause.
I left WoW classic for a few years, went to go back and play my old characters and they were in WOTLK.
I, too, am greatly disappointed by this, as I only have interest in playing Classic, and I was not following the news of a game I stepped away from for a few years. I would appreciate if Blizzard gave us some way to clone our old characters back to classic.

No, that was a clone a player deleted then restored.
yes! this is my biggest gripe, its not the levels but the professions patterns/receipes and synergy i had between my characters and how i would utlitize them to help eachother out in professions. This allowed me to make over 100g on both my lvl 30’s by using their professions. Lots of good items can be made by lower levels that higher levels buy. I am not going to redo all that and a good bit was lucky RNG and time.

They idea that they “deleted” the data is laughable. Most likely will be brought back when there is a dip in subs and they need some thing to keep the cash flowing. “WE FOUND THE DATA!”

Oh yes, it’s exactly like asking to buy a geared lvl 60!!! . . . Except they’re characters that we spent months lvling and raiding for gear. So I guess it’s actually nothing like what you said. It’s really more like restoring a deleted character that we didn’t ask to have deleted. Wait a minute, that’s what we’ve been explicitly saying all along!

I’m glad I didn’t get milked again.
I wish I could charge a price tag for someone else’s hard work and grinding.
If anything this should of been a thing done to be “nice” to the community for once. It’s not like we haven’t gave them enough money as is.

Yes Blizz, please listen to the retail alts with 10 posts all of which are about bringing clones back. Obviously they should be taken super seriously and you should jump in your time machine and roll this change back.
