It be nice to get my enchanter back. Doubt I’ll get an Uldaman group, anytime soon as a non-HCer. Even as an HCer, Uldaman is pretty high up there, and HCers can only do a dungeon once.

I have another suggestion: If we’re not allowed to get our clones back, give us the option to roll back our wotlk characters to classic era.
The result is the same, but we’d be moving characters we don’t play into an environment where we would play them.

It feels weird to beg a company to let me give them more money.

I hope y’all get the clone service you seek, but I’m not really optimistic. Let’s just look at the facts:

They offered the service at the worst possible time imaginable.
They put a time clock on the availability the service
They advertised that the service wasn’t forever and the character data would be deleted.

I wish everyone the best. Hopefully blizz didnt go full t@rd and actuallly delete the cloned data. BUMP.

Huge supporter of bringing back clones.

Like many others I was away from the game during that time. All the time we put into those chars, would be great to get them back and enjoy the game again in classic era.

Nah, they hate WASTING money on upkeeping all of these “dead” things that people are NOT using. I get that we all got busy (I was, too), but that’s the point. Blizz didn’t like WASTING money keeping and maintaining all of these UNUSED characters (and servers which is why Wrath Servers retired some servers, Vanilla Classic is CRZ’d, and why “fresh”, whatever that may be, hasn’t happened, yet).

Blizzard should have given everyone the classic era clones automatically and merged every Era server into one. Maybe that way they wouldnt have looked so completely dead when they first launched. SoM1 should also have had only one server of each type. But alas it wasn’t meant to be
