The cake is a lie, obviously.

My copium is that they are building up this friendly alliance crap so when they tear it down it hits harder. Making that work with cross faction stuff seems hard thematically though.

We’ve seen the caliber of their new characters… They need new WRITERS, not new characters.

Nice bait post.

Here is your cookie :cookie:.

Now go to bed grandpa.

That’s very true, didn’t really use the existing characters that would side with Warchief Sylvanas-- she had used characters that were closer to the alliance. We nearly got a Garona eager to kill another Wyrnn. :robot::sweat_drops:

Nu uh!

Jaina is my buddy now.

We cool and she texts me fun emojis when she’s been in the grog, bless her.

I can’t lose that!

Wars is real life have been started for much, much less. add in a third faction and they would each be fighting a two-front war. Fantastic!

They have done it before. The question is: Why can’t the people involved do it again? Too much Sylvanas simping or what? I actually thought EARLY BFA was excellent. Some of the best, but Blizzard has a habit of setting up a really cool story and then using the least interesting outcome.

Daughter of the Sea and the BFA intro cinematic are a prime examples. SO MUCH HYPE! Then she uses that ship to turn the tide on the Horde’s use of the Blight. Great! Then the actual scenario ends with a nuclear stink bomb in Undercity. WTF?

“ok we teamed up against the jailer to thwart his eon’s long plan to recreate the universe in his image and actually im tired of war, lets try peace”

Personally, I think Turalyon has an agenda. I think Xal’atath is corrupting him unknowingly, and she will make him crack enough to start the fifth war, making the Horde and Alliance pure enemies again. With them completely distracted, she will have her way. Xal’atath is patient, she’s playing the long game.

Then again, I never trusted Turalyon, he’s a shifty fanatic.

Sylvannas was herself, she was always in persuit of her own interest and anyone who didnt help push forward her plans was deemed worthless to her and once the horde started failing and was close to falling and she no longer deemed the horde useful she openly admitted how worthless they were to her. It just took ticking her off to admit it.

Hes a fanatic of the light, not the alliance, if anything he would start a war against the alliance and the horde.

Perhaps, but if she is interfering with his free will and he gets turned to the void, the one thing that would be unimaginable to him, his agenda gets skewed in Xal’ataths favour.

He is made of pure light from the source itself corrupting him is a long stretch and would be a poorly written one.

lol, Blizzard is great at poorly written stories.

Constant, never-ending faction enmity just doesn’t happen. Germany, Japan, Italy, Korea, and Vietnam are all huge trading partners with the United States. Not to mention China.

I mean, if Xal’atath can kill and replace a high ranking Kirin Tor Archmage Councilman and manipulating said council to take Dalaran to Khaz Algar, than killing a Holy Paladin and replacing him shouldn’t be beyond her ability. It would just take some serious planning on her part to catch him unaware.

People just need to let it go. it’s over.

World of Warcraft without faction war is like That 70’s Show without Eric

There are a million very easy ways to bring us back to at least cold war status, which justifies the BGs and world PVP existing without breaking away from cross-faction dungeons and such.

Warchief Geya’rah VS King Turalyon, GIVE IT TO ME
