Bring back alliance vs horde

If i wanted to play ff14 id play that garbage. Seriously starting to believe Garrosh had the right idea.

Seriously, Horde vs. Alliance is one of the fundamental pillars of WoW. We can have crossfaction gameplay for instanced content without ruining the narrative by removing the faction war from the setting.

I do miss it a little, but let me say this. Every time we had it. Wow writers were not good enough to make full use of that story.

Just look at BFA, and WOD. Heck even shadowlands. The potential to be something amazing was wasted.

I’m hopeful they include alternate light infused Garrosh in the story, that gorehowl axe they built in china would make a lot of sense.

There’s only so many times you can have Horde and Alliance go right back to fighting each other after multiple team ups and still have it seem like a believable thing.

We are in a time where we should ask them to bring the Horde back I mean… where is the Horde? Thrall for me is from the Alliance since always.

“For the Horde does not mean Death to the Alliance” Ion

Some weird sheeit going on!

I am fine with it the way it is. Adults work things out and this whole “war” thing was pointless after so long.

I enjoy the bickering (except Turalyon) and the one-upmanship. Now instead of killing each other, we’re trying to prove our ways are just plain better than the other side. Unhostile-like.

Just between you me and the wall, when the cutscene happened where the H and A boats were arriving, I was definitely thinking about how easily it would have been to… you know… I mean, I wouldn’t have done it or approved of such actions buuuuuut… :dracthyr_shrug:

I miss that part of the game. That clash between two factions. I’ve always been die hard Horde since the day I woke up in that crypt in Tirisfal Glades on my undead warlock. My first ever toon.

But where they’ve taken the game now I think that is really and truly dead. We’ve cooperated too much. We can be in guilds together, raid together, play together, do everything together. It’s to the point where not being able to speak to each other out in the open world feels weird now. Jaina and Thrall can have a conversation but I can’t talk to the Nightelf fishing right beside me?

IDK I think the “@&!% the alliance For the Horde” days are over.

I think my husband said it best.

Wow writers are good at making Paladins, holy people and decent humans.

They are not good at making stories about tribalism. What a Horde person considers honorable some of it a decent person would question. How they gladiator arenas and consider death in the arena honorable.

The horde lost that magic. Voodoo, Rugged Orcs and warriors. Like how would a war even work even more with the leaders of both sides? The Horde is not really the Horde anymore. They act more like Humans than Orcs.

Like even Blood Elves who use to be so addicted to mana, Forsaken? They are not creepy anymore. Trolls like I said lost voodoo. Orcs are no longer rugged warriors.

And Taurens are always victims.

Like a war with the alliance would be one sided at the current state of horde. lets be real lol.

No Blizzard couldn’t write good faction conflict to save their own lives.

Ew gross

…unless they use new characters. :memo::robot:

We have hope with Turlyion being himself thinking light above all, him and Female thrall might have their little yell fights and she can spill the beans about a whole alternative timeline with light forged orcs and Space Goats. He brings them i.

5th war starts because he just started a new war with the crazed light folks who kill everything not light wether its the elementals void demons or normal folk. Azeroth is in danger and its that light bound dummies fault.

I honestly want the horde and ally to go back to hating each other. But some fans want the horde and ally to be best friends and stop the whole faction war thing.

Fans want this game to be more like FFXIV OR GW2 where all the races are allies.

I don’t want to be friends, but I also think war would be stupid at this point, and the Blizzard writers have failed to make it good.

BFA was the final straw for me, like how would a war work with these leaders? It would fall flat.

Exactly like you get all these people complaining claiming the story is “dei” or whatever when they literally white washed the Horde instead of hiring people who can write horde stories without it being a PR nightmare. :dracthyr_uwahh_animated:

Garrosh joined the old gods (the Void) and, before that, showed open disdain for any Horde who weren’t an Orc.
Even Sylvannas didn’t fall that hard, and she wasn’t all herself!

Seriously though, the Horde and Alliance don’t need to go to war, they just need to take separate paths to reach their goals.

The Faction War is long gone, lads.

We don’t need another conflict. The Alliance and Horde fighting is a waste of time. Only together can they conquer powerful threats. If they are too busy fighting each other, that leaves Azeroth open to attack. Plus there are good people on both sides.

It could never work.

Like the only way faction war could work well, if the horde or alliance killed off each other leaders in a way that had impact.

The problem with that is, our leaders right now are well… Does anyone really care about them? Like they show up, and just talk about threats and send us to do dirty work.

Like, at this point I don’t think the Horde or Alliance would care if one side kills Thrall or the other kills any of our leaders. Heck I don’t even know who leads the horde anymore tell you the truth lol.
