Classic is a better game than current Retail but that doesn’t mean it’s the pinnacle of gaming. It can still be improved. Does that mean turn it into Retail? No, it means we find changes that can make it better without ruining it.

An updated AH doesn’t make me question anything, because I spend, at most, 10 minutes a day on the AH. My priority is to have fun, not to gripe over outdated mechanics in what is intrinsically an outdated product.

You know, you can have achievements outside of an official Blizzard feature. Just get a notebook and write down special things you do, you can even look at the list of stuff that Blizzard came up with and track them yourself.

Hell, even make a website and list them if that’s your thing!

Though to be fair, 1.13 classic still uses spell queuing, which removes latency as the reason why you can’t chain-cast spells efficiently. It makes the process of casting spells soooo much more convenient.

Layers, early releases, historical knowledge, different player base, various addons that don’t work now or back then, etc.

The only thing Classic is players like you clinging to nostalgia like a password-protected p0rn folder and mommy trying to get into it.

The worst offence about the classic AH is that you can’t list by buyout price. Unless you’re using an addon, you gotta look through pages and pages of overpriced single stack wool cloth just to get to the ones actually worth buying
