Brewmaster in need of utility and talent/celestial rework

I didn’t even realize it was in Mistweaver but not Brewmaster.

The devs should be absolutely ashamed of the work they’ve done – or lack thereof – with Brewmaster

Should just band together to make tanks overall better. They need all brought up to at minimum where VDH is.

This. The idea of nerfing tanks for being tanky makes no sense. Just buff everyone else so they are in that realm.

Love all the support the brews are giving and seeing all of you. Best spec in the game

EDIT: added suggeted tuning notes to make us a lot stronger defensively and offensively without a total rework

I have a great time playing all the tank specs and I like brewmaster a lot. And it feels like if brewmaster got attention from blizzard like other classes that have had positive changes it would excel in fun to another level!

Gonna be a Brew for comradery. :innocent: Now I’m not gonna be a good one. But I’m committing to it :stuck_out_tongue:

We got you!

The absolute lack of any communication as to why brewmasters seemingly do not exist to the developers is probably the most concerning part to me.

I think they would do well to also make Brew and WW use the same stats. Tie haste to dodge chance or something.

With our tier set having so much haste can we please get something like WW did and scale better off of haste? Right now it is basically a dead stat.

Literally anything for haste would be a game changer, it’s always so annoying that all these tank trinkets and our tier being slammed with haste.

Shuriken spec? We could steal fan of knives and have fan of shurikens instead.

I mean eventually people have to get tired of seeing the same two tanks in mythic+ and only seeing 1 tank per season.

I see it every season that some tank is in the poor house, like Prot Paladin beginning of Season 1, or VDH all of season 1, to be buffed to the top tier tank. Except for Brewmaster that just stays at the bottom and was below those tanks before they got buffed… (but they use data to determine balance tuning decisions)

Equinox-Sama please request that we also get some utility back. Maybe bring back Avert Harm or give us back Rope Spear as a grip.

Brew needs something more to stand out since our current utility kit is pathetic.
Also Keg of the Heavens and DF S3 tier set pls.

Equinox had, at least two months ago.

I really like the Avert Harm idea if we were a bit tankier.

Ring of peace silencing instead of knocking is another common suggestion.

I kind of like the idea of making RoP a pull in similar to the void zones mobs drop in rookery. That is, not an instant pull, but rather one that works like a vacuum over its duration.

I’d probably delete mystic touch and give monks a haste raid buff on top of it. I’m not a super big fan of the target based raid buffs and would probably look at getting rid of brand too, but that doesn’t seem anywhere near as necessary.

We used to have Legacy of the Emperor which was a awesome main stat buff. But Blizzard are Mage mains.

For M+ Mystic Touch is less effective even for a lot of melee than Chaos Brand. If we got anything useful I’m sure no one would care to see this go away.

You know what would be a fun alcohol based move that would compete with silence sigil and divine toll?

Concentrated keg : Dowse enemies in a potent brew that makes them target each other for the next 4 seconds with melee attacks and spells. Damage obviously scaled so it doesn’t get out of control. Doesn’t work on bosses.

It’s a good class fantasy because we are getting them drunk.

I’d like to see them bring back the Legacy of the White Tiger variant that gave a crit buff, assuming WoWpedia is accurate since I didn’t play then. There’s no actual crit raid buff and it would be far more valuable than a small physical damage increase that only noticeably benefits a handful of specs.
