Was it an epic purple one on the character that was under 70?

I think it should at least be 60 being that you can unlock the Renewed Proto-Drake at 60 for the manuscript.

Rita was referencing the fact that no one under level 70 can get the rewards from Coren Direbrew, whereas last year, that wasn’t the case. You know… the topic of the thread?
Why would anyone run Coren Direbrew if you don’t even get a chance at the mounts or toy?

I don’t have DF, and it’s showing purple kegs for my 60’s.
I just killed Coren on a 2nd level 70 character and got a purple box. so it’s at least 1x/day for level 70s (not per account)
sucks about lower lvls not being eligible though
My level 63 has the green showing. I wonder if it’s different for those who don’t have DF. Maybe level 60 if you don’t have DF and level 70 if you do.
Yes, level 70s get the purple one. Below level 70 does not.

Nope, you can get the rewards as proven by the screenshot of a chest dropping for a level 63, just not the epic level rewards unless you are level 70.
Which i think is bunk.
Why are reward levels a thing in a type of content that has no tiers? theres is no “Mythic Direbrew” Encounter. Why have a mythic chest as a reward?

I suspect that’s the issue. I just ran it, got the purple keg, and even got the brewfest armor.
Why? It never affected you before if people’s alts had a chance at the mounts and toy.
My 63 Monk has the green. I don’t know if I have anyone higher than that to check to see if there’s a level threshold.
Also: yours isn’t showing the bonus xp. That’s odd.

Some may be doing Direbrew as a lower level for XP, or for the experience of completing a brewfest achievement.
There are a few reasons why someone would do it as a lower level and not just because theres a mount tied to the reward.
You donʻt find value in that, and that is fine. Everyone else is not you.
Personally, sure, id like my lower levels to get a mount but its not gonna be a deal breaker if i just want to do it for reasons i said above. The fact they changed it for this year is what i find upseting, it was fine before.
look at it as encouragement to get the expansion.
