Why on earth is the brewfest Loot scaled to a Timewalker Ilevel of 184 and not a base of at least 226. No one can enjoy the loot, and every brewfest the loot has always scaled to mid ilevel gear. It’s loot you get to play with, enjoy and have fun with without being to serious, but now at such a low Ilevel, theres no point in getting it. The team is more focused on BC Classic to even update Retail playing, and it’s just getting worse and worse.

Yeah, once you get the achievements/mounts and what not done there is no reason to do the events any more.

Yeah, seem ilvl at this point is quite low. I guess they want it for alts just going in. And classic team =/= retail team.

Sad things is I enjoyed getting the 2 Stam trinks on alts/overgeared tank and just goofing off, but can’t even seem to do that anymore, any kind of fun detected seems to just be removed

Seeing as the loot is trinket based and a very slim chance at a bop weapon, as well as every brewfest dropped Scaling ilevel of mid raid ilevel yes as that is what it used to be not an ilevel base of something u get in normal dungeons.

That’s how it has always been as the trinkets were more for fun, with very slim upgrading performance. I am referring to the ilevel being that of a Normal dungeon, instead of how it’s always been which was a mid tier raid ilevel. That’s how its been every expansion, they are easily replaced but this is just s slap in the face for an ilevel to even pretend to enjoy even if it’s just for fun. sitting at a 238 Ilevel don’t need it, more of would of like to use it for fun like I do every expansion but can’t even pretend to enjoy it this go around

Considering the fact that they’re just re-releasing content that has already existed, I disagree with this heavily. Especially if you take a look at 9.1.5 patch notes. They’re working rather diligently on Retail, bro. They still have a long way to go, though.

A heroic dungeon is faster and better gear than what holiday dungeon gear provides

You don’t need to rely on a holiday event for gear

That is fair, they are reworking on timewalker and letting those who did not have a chance to play during legion do the mage tower which is nice and provides so fun transmog. Those who played during and got the secret skins especially as a druid tank enjoy it. But you can’t deny they are lacking on holiday event/loot. Just recent years did they make changes for cosmetic/toys but when it comes to the actual loot there is no excuse on why it wasn’t scaled up even to m0 as submitted previously would of even been sufficient compared to what they provided. That’s just sloppy on their part.

For as long as this boss has been up the gear that has dropped has always been a great starter for end game content. It has also always been a great way to get trinkets. And one of the few places you can get something usable for that slot for the current state of the game.
But like most things in WOW these days the Stinginess of the Blizzard team is showing thru. They do not like making things reasonable anymore because they don’t want to make content so they make us do things like M(x) and dailies. This is how lazy that have gotten. We can make item level 200 armor and rings and neckless, but not weapons? They want us to do grinds so they have to do as little as possible. And then they go and deny the players the simple upgrades that have been there before.
Its reasons like this that many players have moved to FF14 and other games. Even I have tested the free FF14 and things like this makes me wonder if Blizzard even gives a crap anymore or if what little players they have left is nothing more than vendor trash to them. Like the are going to let the game die and bleed the last few bucks out of its player. Thanks for screwing us again blizzard. I looked forward to this to maybe get a few things but you couldn’t even put scaling onto the items…

Absolutely feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t remember Brewfest or any holiday event rewarding normal mode raid gear item levels. I’ve personally only ever ran them for collecting the holiday items with the currency they reward.

with 90% of it locked behind a massive quest gating, I mean look at all the quests/rep grind for the Maw only for the next patch to simply remove all that work, and make those upgrades useless. The ring off Sire still pretty good stats for haste, useless in the maw now.
